We're reconsidering the dates of our next trip to include the Daytona 500 (in 2005). How are the President's Week crowds at Universal, compared to WDW? Should President's Day be avoided? Also, what are the historic, or 2003, hours in February?

but if you have the express pass you should be fine. We were there in July (high season) and did everything we wanted to at a decent pace with the express pass.

Wee arrived Tuesday of President's week last year and they weren't real bad. This first day we hit the outlet stores first and didn't arrive until 1 P.M. The parks closed at 7. We did IOA The only big wait I remember was spiderman because FP was gone and it was probably 5-5:30 when we go there and we ended up waiting about 40 minutes. Everthing else, you could manage with FP (we didn't buy the Express pass). The one great highlight though was if you stay the week, the Sat after PRes day they start their Mardi Gras Celebration. It's a great parade held Sat night at USF and shouldn't be missed!

OMG I love the Mardi Gras celebration...if only I could have stayed for their evening concerts every once in a while :) I was there the day they had Smashmouth, but wasn't able to stay. Bummer :(

I'm considering President's Day, as well and it's good to hear they won't be overwhelming, corwd-wise. :)
