A friend of mine wants to go on a not so busy week. (They have done Easter all the other times). She thought Feb. would be good and of course had plans of going over President's day. Told her it would be another busy one. She wants to know if it is busy the week before or the week of? Which is worst and is one a lot better than the other? Please help her out.
thanks:wave2:

Last year we were down there the Wed. after Presidents Day and it was a little busy, but not bad. But then after that week it cleared out nicely!::yes::

Presidents week is consider another peak time for WDW. If you can avoid presidents week please do. The week before or after is much better, but remember Mardi Gras is in the month of Feb. Mardi Gras week is not considered peak time but it is still busy.

I remember last year for Mardi Gras week, some of waits for the rides was about 45 min - 1 hour.

We have done this week the last 2 years. Arriving Wednesday before PD. Low attendance until weekend SSM busier but nothing like the week before and after Easter. Love this time, warm enough to swim, and cool enough to tour parks comfortably. Lots of days we wore shorts and tee-shirts during the days.
