President's Day weekend

Any predictions for President's Day weekend? We are considering a trip that Saturday thru Tuesday. Main concern is no FP. We will have an 11 yo and a 3yo. The 3yo with very long lines make us a bit nervous, as far as his patience!

Also wanted to add, we've been several times so it's not a once in a lifetime type thing. We will most likely do only 2 parks, maybe 3.

I think it's anyone's guess at this point what things will be like the weekend leading into Presidents Day. But I wanted to point out the double-whammy this year of Presidents Day back-to-back with Mardi Gras. That has historically created considerable crowds when the 2 fall in the same week.

Thanks for the input. I didn't realize that about Mardis Gras! That puts a kink in my ideas for sure.

Obviously this year would be anyone's guess, but I've been several times during that week and it's always been insanely busy. Here in NY (and probably elsewhere?) schools have that entire week off, so I'm sure that inflates the crowds is what's generally a slower time of year.

Hi Katie! We were there for Presidents Weekend in 2018 and 2019 and will be there again next year Crowds are.......there lol, and that’s when Marci Gras doesn’t overlap. But as others have said what next year will be like we can’t be sure of although I still feel it’ll be the most crowded time in February.

Since none of the parades are rolling this year, there may not be the usual exodus out of southern Louisiana that exists during a regular year. I guess the crowded factor kind of depends on if Disney continues to limit admissions into the parks.
