President's day weekend?

We are looking at going to DL for the first time over president's day weekend. Our only other disney experience was last year at WDW during an off season week in February. Has this spoiled us for the crowds that there will be at DL over that holiday weekend? Thanks for any input.

I spent months planning our WDW trip and now I got this crazy idea to try to plan this trip to DL fast and am trying to learn all I can in a hurry!

I went last year that weekend.. There were lines in the men's room at California Adventures..

There are never lines in a mens room.. It was a very full day.

All the Ap's except the Premium are blocked out.

Also many schools now have ski week at that time and the schools are on a break. So they will be out from the 12th till the 22nd.

We were there over President's Day Weekend in 2007. We did Thursday-Sunday in the parks and flew home on the actual holiday. It was very nice in the parks on Thursday and Friday, but the parks were very crowded on Saturday and Sunday in the afternoon and evening.

Yet, the change in attendance patterns this last year really means...we aren't sure. Given that the weekend is blacked out to all but the highest level of annual pass holder may mean it is a quiet weekend. I posted almost the same query yesterday asking for other "experts" advice, but no one responded.

Given the shift in attendance patterns, there is a lot more guess work over crowds. My gut says that it should be a light weekend, but attendance prediction has become more magical prognostication than science.

I have been there for a few years and it is not THAT bad! Not summer bad!
