How busy is Disneyland during President's Day weekend typically?

Also, has anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn in Buena Park? Travelzoo has it listed for only $69 and it looks nice. Any feedback on the rooms and the distance to Disneyland would be appreciated.

The Holiday Inn Buena Park is about 10-15 minutes drive (8miles with lights!) away over by Knott's Berrry Farm. If you wanted to stay closer, I found some great rates in February at the hotels on Harbor.

Presidents Day weekend from what I have seen and heard is typically really busy. But then any holiday or long weekend anymore gets that way. You will have to use fastpass and take advantage of early entry, that's for sure! Have fun!

Is it crowded the Tuesday and Wednesday after the holiday as well or do the crowds mellow out then?

Tuesday and Wednesday shoould be fine, but the Fri-Mon of that weekend was insane last year.

iceskatejen is right, usually by Monday night or Tuesday morning, the crowds have thinned as most people have gone home!

I had been seeing that a lot of schools in CA and WA have that whole week off for Winter Break. I know that in Tucson most schools have Thursday and Friday of President's week off for Rodeo. Many families plan their Disney vacations around this time off. We went to DL during Rodeo and ran into Tucson families everywhere in DLR.

Definitely! I was there Pres. Weekend last year and it was nuts, plain and simple. Probably the worst crowds I have ever seen at Disneyland, including summer. But it also hinges a bit on the weather, it was very warm in 2006 which brought even more locals in. But if you can go the next week, that would be my recommendation.

Have off Monday 12th and Monday the 19th of february. So 2, 3 day weekends in a row...
