Hi all!

Looking forward to an action-packed LA visit Feb 13-17, 2025, but not quite sure how to best schedule which attractions on which days. We have 2 day hoppers and will buy Universal express and Knotts tickets a bit later...

Here's what I'm thinking:
Feb 13: arrive LAX 10am then visit Knotts
Feb 14: DLR
Feb 15: DLR (busy weekend but the three lowest annual passes are blocked out this day)
Feb 16: Universal Studios
Feb 17: fly home 10am from LAX

Would you shuffle the order of those park visits?
It's a busy holiday weekend with Presidents Day.
Our kids are teens so commuting around LA not as tricky as it once was. We're planning a combination of car rental and Uber/Lyft.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can provide!

Not a bad plan

Just be aware you might not be inside Knotts until after 1 PM, and its a weekday so double check how long its open

USH is best on weekdays, most weekdays as long as they are not during Spring/fall break or holidays are pretty easy to do everything in a day without express. Sundays are also normally not too bad

For example I just went last Sunday and the waits for the Mummy were a walk on even 20 mins after the park opened and walked on it twice.
If you really want express buy it but I find if you rope drop the lower lot and get on Secret life of pets before noon and then hit the Tram/shows in the afternoon you should be able to see everything without express....normally the last hour of the park many rides are walks on as well, like the HP rides.

If your family doesn't mind Single rider is also great, you can walk on Mario kart most morning if single rider is open and the HP ride is normally under 10 mins if you single rider it anytime in the day.

Great advice, thank you so much!

I'm really not sure which of the three attractions to do Feb 13th, since it's only a partial day...
I'm leaning towards Knotts because I think it might not have the wow-factor of the others, although my oldest absolutely LOVES thrill rides. We've never been to Knotts or USH, but this is our 4th trip to DLR.

There are pros and cons to each option (DLR, USH, Knotts) for that first partial day on Feb 13th...

Worst comes to worst you get to Knotts and have to buy single express ride tickets or just express for the day

For USH, I'd honestly not buy it unless you get to the park and its packed because its rare Express sell out at Universal unless its a peak day and I doubt that Sunday will be that busy...most rides will be under an hour at USH besides Mario Kart
