Presidents Day 2007 - how will it affect us?

Mazzy - Thanks for the kind words. We, too, are DVC members and will be staying at SSR or BCV. I am travelling w/ my DSIL and her family and they would like to try BCV. If we don't get the weather we are hoping for, we will just have to go back .

Have a great stay over Halloween. That is when I think I want to go in 2008.

Hi all We will be there that week too - looks like a popular time to go. We're flying in on the Sunday (11th) and back on the following Sunday, the day before Presidents Day. It's a surprise trip for DH 40th Birthday.

As there are 6 adults, we will probably be staying in a villa but am now considering a 1-night stay at a Universal on-site hotel for the Friday or Saturday night before we go home if the parks are likely to be busy that weekend.

It could get pretty crowded that weekend before Pres Day. Heading over to UO might not be a bad idea. We are leaving on the Saturday. If you go over to UO, make sure you stay on-site. That FOTL perk can't be beat .

Bicker - oh lucky you, the Boardwalk looks a lovely resort.

Wilma-bride - hi, small world! When are you going to tell your DH about the trip? Or are you just going to get him to the airport and then tell him? Yep would definitely recommend the Universal Hotel for the front of the line pass, we've done this twice now and it's brilliant!

Mickey Fliers - yep def have to go back if we get just one spot of rain then! Our Halloween trip will be our first trip without DH, he can't come as he has to work, but as the children will be 16 and nearly 13 by then, I'm sure we will cope and are really looking forward to it, have heard great things about the halloween party and I'm sure you're boys would love it!
