President Obama's first TV interview

wasn't even to an American TV station? What's up with that? You'd think he would want to "talk" to the people that actually voted for him.

Goodness, why would he want to talk to Americans? He got their votes, got into office, he's done with us now.

I don't really expect him to get any kind of real questions from the American media either. They're too busy gushing over him to force him to explain exactly how the average American is going to get any real help from his stimulus plan.

So we're calling all Muslims terrorists now? Nice. And obviously, one interview isn't going to change anything in and of itself, but you do have to start somewhere. Heaven forbid we actually try and reach out to the moderate and rational parties in the Mideast. I doubt anyone thinks the radical extremists were the target audience for that interview.

Where are the questions? Where is someone holding his feet to the fire and asking specifically HOW all of his great ideas are going to help?

Considering that he's doing the same thing that Bush did with the stimulus plan-and we all see how well that worked-I think someone should be asking him why he thinks more money thrown around is going to fix anything.

Oh please. I never said that. Laugh all you want. Obama will never, ever do anything to make rabid anti-Obama folks happy.

Those who are terrorists will remain terrorists. I think our goal should be to make sure we limit as many future terrorists as possible. Opening the lines of communication with as many muslims as possible is a good thing - it's an exceptional thing. It's a first step in the right direction.

We'll never do away with crazies completely - but it is huge gesture on the part of the USA to have our President speak directly to the Muslim world and then send an envoy to the Middle East to begin undoing the freaking disaster created by Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld, et al.

Anyway - all of you with the "don't blame me" sigs are going to just trash anything and everything this man does. No point wasting any time arguing. I should never have posted in the first place. Nothing he does, nothing anyone says to support him or the decisions he makes will make any difference in the minds of those who thought Palin would have been a good leader for this great country.
