I'll pay for your dinner if you promise to hold up a sign for him and the tv camera's to see which reads "2247 won't get to go to Disney--How many more".
2247 - that would be just about the number of children that will be aborted (and thus won't be going to Disney) during Bush's brief time at WDW.
Good sign.

Oh you have GOT to be kidding me?!?!

People, the OP asked a simple "do you think it will be busy" type question because Bush may or may not be at the CR.

And now we have people bringing up abortion?!?! Good grief!

From the CR to abortion...And people wonder why they are called fanatical nuts! :confused3

Direct your anger at the idiot poster who first hijacked this thread. I'm fanatical?? How about the nuts ("I'll pay for your dinner" to hold up a sign??) who feel the need to protest everything, even at Disney. Give me a break.

Nope...Sorry. The fact that YOU took a thread about a Disney Resort & tried to turn it into a debate about abortion (which is EXACTLY what would happen when people bring abortion into ANYTHING), puts YOU on the fanatical side.

Oh & I dont think the poster was an "idiot" as you call him. People in America have the freedom to protest anything they want. Even if that means something you believe in. It is our rights as Americans to be able to protest. So nope, in my opinion the poster is not an idiot for wanting to protest the war.

Well, thats your opinion.

Someone else feels that its his duty to follow Bush around (even at Disney) and hold up signs - isn't fanatical. Right?

Someone who offer to buy dinner (ARV $200) so that his idiotic opinion might get a one second spot on the local news - isn't fanatical. Right?

Someone who can't stand to see the man take another breath, let alone one on Disney property - isn't fanatical. Right?

Someone who has to rush to any title with "Bush" in it to express his moronic opinion that has nothing to do with the topic - isn't fanatical. Right?

Well, that's your opinion. Good luck with that.

Whew! Talk about some anger on your part.

First, you sure do keep insulting the person who wanted to protest the war. Not evry nice.

Second, I dont see anywhere the poster said he "can't stand to see the man take another breath, let alone one on Disney property". That is a bit extreme on your part.

Idiotic, moronic, you sure like slinging the mud at someone, who just suggested doing something that is his right to do...Protest a war. Oh & frankly, I dont think Disney would even allow a protest & since they are a private property, they can in fact kick someone out for protesting.

But you sure keep slinging those zingers at the left, dont you?

I agree. In America (as you so self-rightously note), we do have the freedom to protest. But to offer to buy someone dinner at the very off chance that his piece of cardboard might get a brief glance by a stray camera??? Idiot. To offer to do so at a vacation spot, where everyone is having a good time?? Idiot. Making his opinion known on a Disney thread, not a political thread? Out of place. (That includes my abortion rebuttal)

Well, again - you started it by calling me fanatical. I guess I'm expected to lie back and take that garbage.

ooooooo--not a good topic. :sad2:

ps- do you have room in your home or some money you gave to that many kids...since you think you can make that decision for someone else without knowing their circumstances. maybe you can help them our financially....or emotionally.....

or you can just add on to your home 2247 rooms should be sufficient.....or maybe they can all live at the whitehouse.

NOPE! Read CAREFULLY! I NEVER called YOU fanatical. I said "people wonder why they are called fanatical nuts", NOT "you are fanatical".

And yes I did say "puts you on the fanatical side.", because yes, I think bringing abortion up on a Disney thread is a bit on that side. But NOT that you are a fanatic.

I did not start name calling.

Now I know a logical reasonable response to those misguided souls who stand on the corner with graphic anti-choice signs. Thankyou Maddhatir.

Why you are quite welcome Robindianne- :thumbsup2

people should always remember to put themselves in someones elses shoes before you speak. you dont know the circumstances.

this would help very much with misguided souls! ;)

Grace&CarolinesMom's post under this one got it just right!! :thumbsup2

Okay folks......as my mom would say,"If you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all...Now go to your rooms and think it over. Don't come out until you know why you are sorry."

Let's all get back to the topic at hand and think fairies and pixie dust. :wizard:

Not wanting to keep anyone from free debate... can I suggest the PM function before someone closes the thread?
Otherwise I'll need a sign too: :offtopic:

;)

I wanted to stay out of this thread, but when I see you have the nerve to call someone who wants to protect the unborn "misguided", I have to respond. Misguided is what the people are who think abortion is a choice. Mustard or mayo is a choice. Abortion is the ending of a human life without the benefit of anesthesia. It is a painful process for all involved. I think it is rude for you to call someone who does not support the dismemberment of babies "misguided", when truthfully, it is those who simplify the process by calling it a sweet name like "choice" that are misguided. Now...I hope this thread gets locked, so we don't have to have this debate on the DIS board. But, if you would like to continue the debate privately, I would be up for that!I have never debated abortion with anyone who ends up still feeling "Pro Choice" after our talk!
