President Bush at the Contemporary?

I think he is a disgrace to the United States. There is nothing cool about seeing him on yet ANOTHER vacation while Americans are dying by the scores for a lie he and his cronies propagated. Stay tuned while Libby tells how he was told to "out" a CIA agent by the Vice President. Stay tuned while Abramoff plays show and tell. Is this a contest to see who the last Bush supporter is? His ratings are down to 40%. Wake up America, this is OUR country and it is getting destroyed from within!

well, if you read the boards or even talk to people enough you know you can't say the word Bush without an instant and heated political debate breaking out. You could be discussing baked beans and it'd happen.

Whenever the President (whoever he is) goes anywhere there are going to be traffic and access problems. Plan accordingly and get where you need to be early if he will be in the building or in transit to or from there.

WOW! When I posted this I was hoping people would be considerate and keep their political views out of this thread. My question had nothing to do with how people feel about President Bush.

I think I would have a really hard time getting an ADR for someplace else since it is a busy weekend. So I'm not sure what we are going to do. Probably make sure we leave plenty of time to get there I guess. Has anyone heard if his visit is during the day or at night?

It's Disney and believe it or not I really do find it magical place to visit and escape from the so called real world. If you want politics, then search the net for political websites and have at it! The DIS boards should be a neutral place to discuss DISNEY! No drama queens please!

I don't have a problem with the President like others here do but I wish he wouldn't be at the CR due to all the traffic tie ups it will cause. It's hard getting to your ADR on time as it is. I'm just glad that the Poly isn't big enough to hold a gathering like that.

Because there are many here (with the power to close) who really appreciate the anti-Bush sentiment.

Let's stick to Disney news people - I have enough of this from 8-5 everyday. This is supposed to be a diversion and a means to get info about vacations.

This is not a "political" thread. It is about the logisitics of being at the Contemporary when the President is there.

As far as vacationing or being in Florida. Trust me, this is not a vacation. Every politician under the sun does what Bush is doing, that is go to a fundraiser where ppl pay a couple thousand bucks a plate to hear you speak while you drum up $ for your party. The Clintons were masters of this.

Not something to freak out about.

This coming from someone who voted for Clinton twice, and never for Bush.
