Preshows kind of suck 90% of the time

Having just spent 2 weeks in a post covid WDW, I can say with certainty that we did not miss the preshows in any attractions except Mickey and Minnie Railway because it was the first time we were on the ride. RotR still has the preshow and FoP had an abbreviated one without the “ums”. Overall I did not miss any. Am I way off base here?

I agree the pre-shows are not great. But they serve their purpose of making at least part of the time in line a little more bearable by distracting some people from the fact that they are waiting in line. In a pre-covid time when lines were longer, I think they would be missed by some.

We generally feel the same, although we do like the stretching room at HM. Preshows are just still part of the line lol.

At first thought, I like the “pre-shows” for Soarin’, Peter Pan, Muppets, Tower of Terror, even Tiki Room’s is better than just standing there.

WAIT! Is PATRICK gone??? Tell me that's not what you're saying. Patrick. is. GONE????

Aww I love the preshows. It hypes me up for the ride. But I understand not liking them too, they can be a little drawn out sometimes.

Actually my daughter and I were just lamenting about how much we will miss the pre shows for ToT and Haunted Mansion. We love them. We even have a couple of little things we will traditionally do during it. In ToT we always need to look at each other and mouth the words Twilight Zone when it's said. In HM we do something similar. Silly little things I know but it's our thing and we would miss it. I also like the one before Soarin'. Love Patrick.

For the most part, pre-shows aren't really written to be enjoyed multiple times. They're really more of either a set up for the story or safety information and once you've seen it, you get it.

I'm pretty sure the only one I would miss is Haunted Mansion. That's a classic!

The Flight of Passage one that they are not using right now is just painful. Would definitely not miss that!!

EPCOT has an issue in that it has very few rides and your time on each ride is heavily devoted to pre and post show experiences, really more the post show. TT has the car building, but then also all the interactive displays after. Spaceship Earth has a lot of interactive displays after. Mission: Space has a ton of after-ride experiences. The Living Seas is really a giant aquarium more than a ride. You could easily spend an hour at each one, and that is not including the line or the gift shop. This was all pre-COVID of course. Can you touch any of those things now?

Peter Pan doesn't have a pre show
