A spin off on the Santa wrapping gifts-do you have your non-Santa gifts under the tree before Christmas? We put some gifts there that have come from Grandparents, etc. but don't put anything from us out until Christmas Eve so the kids see it on Christmas morning.

we do it like 2 days befor Christmas-we do a big parade of gifts to the tree. My son gets so excited, but waiting 2 days is not so bad so he never ripped into them, LOL.

This year we have a new puppy so who knows if we will be able to do that or if he will dig in, LOL>

All gifts are put under the tree on Christmas Eve after the kids go to bed. Santa only brings one gift for each kid (usually a board game, the really good stuff comes from us :thumbsup2) and he just adds them to the gifts that are there.

Yes, we put them under there as soon as they are bought and wrapped. :yay:

I need to get my tree up because I bought an XBOX360 for us...yea...for us.:lmao:

yes, presents go under the tree as soon as it is up.

All presents go under the tree on Christmas Eve after the kids go to bed. Even though the kids are older now, we still enjoy the "wow" factor when they wake up on Christmas morning. :goodvibes

Only gifts that have come into the house from someone else.. Usually those folks prefer they are opened while they are there though - which is fine..:goodvibes

Same here! And now that they're 21, 19 and 16, it's getting harder and harder to stay up later than them.

I put gifts under the tree that are going to other family members as they get wrapped.

Once I have most of the gifts I do one big wrapping splurge and then they go under the tree. We open gifts on Christmas Eve but stockings are filled and the Santa gift is put out for Christmas morning.

Presents go under the tree as soon as the tree is up and the presents are wrapped or arrive from other locations.
Only the items Santa leaves appear magically over Christmas Eve night.

Both - some of the presents go under the tree but I wait until after DS is in bed before bringing out the "haul" :rotfl:

His eyes with the piles of presents on Xmas morning are some of my favorite memories! Just continuing the tradition my mom started all those years ago :goodvibes

normally yes, everything other than what santa brings goes under the tree as soon as it's wrapped. this year i'm just going to put the stuff that's for other people under it as it's wrapped (niece, friends and their kids) and leave the "wow" factor for Christmas Eve set-up! All the other gifts are gone by Christmas Eve anyway so it will be empty.. oh, I forgot.. I will put out one gift for each of us for Christmas Eve, we open one each before bed. (jammies!)

No, because my kids would peek. I also like to see their excitement when they look at the tree on Christmas morning and it is surrounded by gifts.

We put our tree up on Christmas Eve morning and decorate it then...family tradition. After it's up we put our presents for other family members under it, but nothing for the kids. (Can't put the bows on until we're ready to give the gifts because of the cats! :lmao:) I also love the "Wow" look when they get up and see their presents from us and from Santa.

This is why we always waited too but now that they are teenagers I am thinking of putting some out this year to spike the curiosity factor. I am actually thinking about wrapping up old books and other junk and not putting out their real presents :thumbsup2.

Santa brings the presents -wrapped and unwrapped.

I was just thinking about this earlier today. We've always waited till Christmas Eve, but I'm starting to think about putting them out once they're bought at wrapped (which I usually end up wrapping Christmas Eve - LOL - I'd definitely have to change my habits).
