Presents for teachers

I know i`ve left it a bit late,as my kids break up at the end of the week, but does anyone have any cool ideas for a present to buy my daughters teacher .i`m sure the must get sick of flowers and chocolates(or maybe not)

When I was in Year 6 me and my teacher had very similar tastes in music so I made her a mix tape.

Our pre-school broke up on friday, as it's attached to the main school, we had to shut abit early as we're taking reception away on a residential tomorrow night, some staff had to cover the rest of the kids, but i got some lovely gifts, and the cards had me in tears...the morning children had put money together and got us huge bouqeuts or flowers also had a beautiful plaque off one child about god's children, sometimes the personal things are the most touching!

Tesco's had a selection of teacher gifts recently.

My partner is a teacher (Deputyhead in a primary school) and what she appreciates more than anything is a nice card with some thoughtful comments from the pupil or their parents. Gifts are nice (I especially like it when she gets chocolates ), but a heartfelt 'thank you' is priceless. She once had a poetry book dedicated to her by an appreciative parent - that had Jane in tears she was so moved.
