Prescription Sun Glasses

I'm looking for an inexpensive place to order prescription sun glasses. In the past, I've used Zenni but I've waited too long and they wont arrive before our trip. Our insurance won't cover them at all so I'm trying to keep the cost down as much as possible. Is there anywhere I can get them with a short time frame of 2 1/2 weeks?

I found wraparound sunglasses at local drug stores that fit completely over my prescription glasses (which are so expensive, even with insurance, that I would never buy prescription sunglasses). I wear the sunglasses on a cord around my neck or on my head as a headband. It's easy to put them on and off when going outside into the sun or going inside to a show or shop at Disney World. I used these for the first time on my last trip and now use them daily. The first pair was under $20 but I have since found Buy One Get One Free offers galore.

I've gotten mine at Sam's Club. They arrive in a week, but aren't extremely affordable.

Walmart might be able to do it in less than 2 weeks.
Lenscrafters in an hour but you will pay through the nose.
BJs always has a display for Sunglasses that clip-on or fit over you existing glasses.

I have all 3 depending on my need, Rx, clip-on, and fit over.

My wife discovered that many frame makers make custom clip on like sunglasses that are the same design as your frame. They don't actually clip on, they have magnets. You might look into that.

I got sunglasses once in the 40+ years's I've worn glasses. Just not worth the hassle carrying them around. I keep $6 polarized clip ons in all 5 of my cars, much cheaper and easier.

Man, if prescription sunglasses are that expensive, I can't imagine the cost of them with high index lens like I need. My glasses are expensive enough as it is. I'd love to have a pair, though.

I would just chance Zenni and maybe pay for expedited shipping. I just got some glasses from them that were not prescription, but were tinted and had AR coating and they came super quick, like 10 days. Otherwise I'd look into clip-ons or something like that.
