prescription meds and the x-ray check

I was reading this information from TSA:

and it never occurred to me to ask for a hand inspection for our prescription meds. Does the x-ray machine cause damage to prescription meds? TIA!

It would depend on the medication. Your best bet is to ask your physician or pharmacist. In matters of health I really think that is your best bet, the folks here are great and wonderful, however, they are probably not qualified (if they are, they are smart not to comment on this) to answer this.
