Prescription Medication Question

So, I have multiple people in my group on several prescription medications, and I'm having a hard time finding information on what the park protocol is for bringing them into the park.

It's too many meds to bring a prescription bottle for each medication, I know for just me alone, I am on something like 20 different medications. That is just too much to carry with me.

Please note that I do take opioids, as I know that could change the answer since it is more controlled.

Can I bring a 4 slot daily pill organizer with my medications in it, or will this be a problem if I don't have the prescription bottles with me? Kind of really need them throughout the day, and definitely don't want to get anything confiscated!

Just not sure how this works...thank you for any insight!

I do not take any prescription meds but i do always carry one of the pill organizer with different things, Advil, tums, allergy pill or any other just in case. Carry it in my small make up bag which has been checked many times and have never been asked about it, but if they did ask i wouldn't mind tossing them if they had an issue with them because they are not something i need to have.

I have brought in both prescription and over the counter medications and have never had an issue. They’ve never even asked me what the meds are. You should be fine with just the pill organizer.

It won't be a problem. They don't care what pills might be in your pocket or bag.

If you are worried, put whatever pills you need in your pocket as you pass through security. They are only looking for illegal substances, weapons, and glass bottles. They will not generally pay attention to medications, but you also have a right to privacy and pills in a case or baggie in your pocket will prevent any uneasiness on your part.

This doesn't specifically pertain to Disney, but when I travel I have a pill box with my daily meds in my purse or backpack. The rest I leave in the bottles and carryon the airplane. I take a photo of all the pill bottle labels and and one if the pills inside. So if TSA etc has a question, I can show that I have a prescription and that is this pill.

Thank you, that is a great idea! I'm definitely going to do that!

Thank you everyone else! No medical Marijuana, so I'm not worried about that. The pill organizer is bulky, so I prefer it not be in my pocket. Sounds like I should be fine with it in my bag though. :)

You will be completely fine. My mid- morning medicines total 8 pills. I just throw my pill organizer in my park bag and no one has ever commented. ... and it's right next to my pain pill bottle and anxiety medicine bottle. Not a single thing has ever been said about any of it. I've also brought in a nebulizer with breathing treatments. I wad asked what it was, and when I said it's a nebulizer for my asthma, they moved right along.
