Prepping for First Cruise and, of course, it's Disney Magic-al!

So, this my first post ever on a board like this. Lot of firsts surrounding this since we leave on our first ever cruise one week from today. And, of course, there's no better way to start than with Disney! We're grown adults without children but we love the Mouse!
Took me years to convince my husband (DH, correct?) to take this step - we just needed for Disney to sail out of Galveston - which is a quick trip from our home in the Galleria area home around Loop 610 and down I-45 . I was told that if we sailed Carnival, we'd never get on another cruise ship. Hmm.
It's only a 4-night cruise - the single port stop will be Cozumel. Again, just wading into the wonderful world of cruising. But I have high hopes!

Any friendly advice to a first timer would be appreciated!
