Pre-planning and budgeting for my 50th. Which resort would you pick: BWV Studio or BCV Studio? Does it matter if you are solo or 2 people? Pull-out sofa-beds if 2 people is not a problem. TIA!

You can't go wrong with either, IMHO. I have a slight preference for BCV due to the location. I like that you can get to the BC QS via a covered walkway and that EP, the Skyliner and the resort buses are closer to to BCV.

I've stayed at both - both are great! Pool area a bit nicer at BC, but BW is a bit cheaper. I feel like they are both about the same bit of distance from EPCOT entrance.

I'm actually thinking about booking a trip for my husbands 50th later this year - we are torn between BWV and GFV, which we haven't stayed at before. Decisions Decisions!

Have fun with your planning, and enjoy your trip.

I personally chose Riviera for my 50th. Newer and prettier IMHO.
Unfortunately, the Riviera standard tower studios don't work for us, as we would require two beds, if the second person came along. Anything else there is out of our budget.

If you're interested in Riviera at all, keep an eye out when they release discounts. Right now I'm in a Tower Studio as it's just me and I'm fine with that room type (and my dates aren't included in the current discount), but my TA has advised me that so far every time discounts have been released the Towers are not included, but the Standard View Deluxe Studio actually comes in cheaper and the Preferred View Deluxe Studio is just a smidge (like maybe $150 total) more - and usually pretty in line with BCV or BWV.

BC. Better pool, covered walkway to get to main building and all the restaurants are inside (except pool bar). One of the things I dislike about BW, have to go outside along the boardwalk to access restaurants.

BCV will be much harder to get into for the 50th. I think it has fewer studios than BWV.

I'm very partial to the boardwalk. I find the entire resort to feel a bit more upscale and I love the music and the ambiance versus the beach club. Plus you are near the boardwalk bakery which is wonderful and Trattoria al Forno which has a ridiculously yummy breakfast.

Just my 2cents, but I personally despise BWV, and really don't care for BCV at all (other than the location). Neither fit my concept of a place to go for a celebratory trip. GF, Poly, Riviera yes. BW & BC? Hard pass.

If I were forced at gunpoint to choose one over the other, it'd be BC. But I wouldn't be excited about it.

Tell us how you really feel @Fangorn! 😂😂😂

Oh. Was i not clear? 🤪😜

I'm willing to chalk up my distaste for BWV to the fact that both DW and I got food poisoning while staying at BWV. Last three days of our trip spent being violently ill (thank you Sanaa!), but still don't ever want to go back. BCV however was just such a disappointment all three times I've stayed there. Weirdly, I love the Beach Club hotel side - just not the Villas.
