All is not lost. I've had luck getting a PPO BOG ADR for 6 around 3 or 4 months before the trip. I would just randomly check MDE when it crossed my mind. The week of our trip, I bumped it up from a 8:45 to a 8:15.

Yeah people change plans all the time. I have ADRs booked for May, but I'm only set on 2 or 3 of them. And I've stumbled upon same day Le Cellier dinner for 2.

I will continue check and I am not doubting that online people may have snagged every 8 ish ADR every day of our trip within an hour it just seems a bit strange to me is all.

It’s not really that strange - it’s a very popular ADR before the park opens. Anyone who wants breakfast but to not waste park time to do it will book 8-9. And then there’s the people doing it for the leg up on getting to SDMT. People can go there and spend next to nothing - buy a coffee - and get to SDMT before everyone else. No one wants to eat there at 9 and waste low line time. Most breakfast goers want the 8.

It’s the online people on your day PLUS those who arrive before you who could already book for days.

Definitely sign up for the free Touring Plans reservation finder. It is really helpful for getting popular ADRs if you miss out initially. It has worked for me with a party of 10 on hard to get ADRs. Good luck! I hope you get the one you want.
