Prepaid gratituities in Cruise App

We are sailing the Wish in August. I have already paid in full. There is a link saying " Next steps" I click on it, and there is a Prepay Gratuities option, with Add + . I click that, it displays " Loading " but then returns back to the screen with prepay Gratuities, I never get to a payment screen.

Am I missing something?

Please post once you find out. That's what I'm doing. I payed early, so that the charges for the cruise, DW tickets would process through, and get the rewards. We've done the Disney thing for several vacations now on the past few years with grandkids. A trip with my oldest in 2021, a Disneyland trip with 2 grandmas/ 3grandkids in 2022, and now the D2/cruise with my niece and oldest granddaughter. Once this summer trip is over, we won't be Disneying for awhile, so I'll be canceling my Disney Visa, as I have other non fee credit cards with rewards I can use for more than Disney.

You can call and have the amount applied to your account as "onboard credit".

I wonder if they might just be having problems with the gratuties payment, specifically? I tried to pay that yesterday, and it wouldn't go through. (I know I don't have to pre-pay, but I wanted to use up a gift card that I will otherwise forget I need to bring.)

Anyone try giving themselves a gift of onboard credit? That’s how I put money (especially gift cards and Disney Reward Dollars) without having to wait on the phone.

Yes, routinely do this using a Disney Visa Rewards card, to avoid the lines at the Guest Service desk. I imagine it would work with Disney gift cards as well.

Yep! I've been buying onboard credit and paying with gift cards so I don't have to wait in any lines once on the ship!
