Prepaid Airtan Baggage - drop off?

I'm not the most experienced traveler and seem to forget everything I know in between trips so bear with me! I'm going to prepay for my baggage when I check in online before my Airtran flight from Portland ME. Where do I drop of my luggage? Is there curbside pick up there or will I have to wait in line at the check in counter.... just wondering if prepaying will save me anytime.
