PreOrder a Disney PhotoPass??

So, I was thinking about buying the preorder photopass for $100.00 today but I hesitated before pressing confirm and figured to get others advice to make sure I am making the right decision.

Do you think that the preorder is worth the money? Will it be more expensive later? Should I really spend the money now or just do it later? It advertises that I will be saving $50.00 by buying now. I need some advice please!!

Help me, oh experts!!

Go for it! It says right on the website that you can get a refund if you do not like any of the pictures and decide not to order the CD.

If you decide to wait, you will have to pay $150. Only pictures taken after your pre-order are able to be on the CD.

go for it!! Last time we didn't get it and ordered like 8 pics for about $75! This time we are getting it for sure! Well worth it. Then just get as many photopass pics as possible..I'll be stalking those people!

I just got back.. We preordered the CD and it was the best money that I have ever spent!! I loved being able to actually be in the pictures verses taking the picture. We were there for 10 days and I got a total of 438 pictures. Some are better than others, but I will be able to pick and choose which I want to print. It honestly was the best money that I have spent!

Thank you all for answering the op's question. I just about did the same thing - went through the motions and then wondered if I were doing the right thing. When I log to in to photopass, I don't see it advertised but with a link from someone on Dis I have it saved to favorites.

We are going in december. As long as I purchase prior to my trip I should be okay. Confirming this is correct.

my family and SIL & her kids are going in a month. If I get the photopass could my SIL also order pics from it? I think the general idea is that I get a card & then load the card onto my account & order away, right?
If I pre-order the disc can I take the disk & have pictures printed from anywhere (Costco, Shutterfly)?
Sorry about all the questions, I am blocked from the photopass info at work.

We pre ordered the CD and also the book. It was so worth it we had a great time making the memory book. Yes you can take the disk anywhere and print as many pictures as you want. You can also up load personal pics. You can add Disney boarders and characters. We leave in 29 days so I am ordering ours tonight!

Go for it. If you've pre-paid it, you are more likely to grab all the great Photopass photo ops. On our last trip, one of the photographers told me to make sure I tell each photographer that we already prepaid for our disk and they will snap lots of shots.

I mentioned it a few times since my son has autism and you can take 10 shots before he is looking at the camera. I'd tell them "just keep snapping away and hopefully one will be perfect." We got ton's of pictures and cute poses because of it too.

I always pre-order the cd and memory book. I make a point to take lots of photos. Once I get home I add multiple borders and usually end up with about 1000 or more photos. Just remember once you upload your cards you only have 30 days to place the order. You can also upload your own photos and add borders and they will also be on your cd. You can print photos from anywhere there is a copyright release on the cd. This is my favorite souvenir from our trips. You can also add multiple cards to your account when you return from your trip
