Has anyone stayed on the premium sites? Are they worth the extra $10/night? We stayed in loop 600 the last time and really liked it, but if 100 & 200 are still preferred I'm not sure it's worth the extra cost for a bigger piece of cement...if it had free wi-fi that would be another story. :surfweb:

Well, if you need the room I would say it would be worth it (or if you just like a "larger feeling" campsite). I think they're mainly for all the new rigs that are longer than anything they had when they first built the Fort, and those people have been aching for larger sites for a long time.

There are some people who swear by it, saying that they just HAVE to be close to the marina! However, I personally don't have to be anywhere near anywhere. As long as I have my feet and my cart, I can get where I need to go. Besides, I am at the Fort. I am usually not in a hurry to go anywhere, unless nature is calling!;)

Since they just re designated all the loops, 11 of them are going to be premium anyway 400-1400. You might not have much of a choice anymore.

I'm so confused as to what are premium loops and prefered loops, does anyone have that info ?

I have thought about getting a premium site because my dd is in a wheelchair and that might give us space for her to wheel to the door of the camper but man an extra 10.00 a day come on.

I would like to see the new premium sites. I was playing around on the Disney site and a 4 night trip was about $500 for a campsite.

I wanted to make my fort ressie with DVC points, but no availability. Called 407wdisney and they said only PREMIUM sites were available for my 2 nites for 238.50. Then called throo DVC to make a cash ressie and was given the same price for a PREFERRED site for the same dates. :confused3
Lady I spoke with said there are only 3 categories: Tent, full hookup or preferred. Is she wrong or with the new refurb are all sites going to be the same size?!?!!?:confused3
This is our first trip to the fort and I want to be sure what I am booking:sad2:

I think the confusion is because they have not converted all the sites yet. Until that is done, there will be partial, full, preferred and premium. It will just be a matter of when the refurbishments are done. We are going in Oct and have full hookup booked. We also need a pet loop. I will request 1700 because that has always been full-pet. If the refurb is done before we get there, 1700 may not be a pet loop. I will be closely watching the progress.
