Does any one know, do all premium sites also accomodate a tent ? Just had 2 more guest added to the trip. Hoping to get in the 1400 loop. Arriving Dec. 13. Staying thru Dec. 30.
Premium sites are big, wide open, and all concrete. Any tent would be on the concrete pad (self supporting).

PS-u can try to set up a tent off to the side of the pad but u run the risk of being told to take it down. Technically everything has to go on the pad in a Premium.
We had a Preminum site in the 900 loop last trip that had plenty of room for a tent both on side and back. We were on a curve and I think thats why. Other Preminums we used didnt, its just luck,..

I agree and with the recent crack down on folks putting Xmas decorations everywhere this idea that use can use the non pad area to extend your site might be frowned on more now than in the past. I've seen some sites that look like they should be in the "group" camping area.
I was just there Thanksgiving week in loop 800 a Premium loop and their was 5'er with a tent behind it, back off the pad in the mulch. Their are tons of trees and roots, but they were able to get the two- two person tents up.
I didn't see a problem with it and the tent was there the whole 3 nights we were. We even had a doggy pen off our back of our pad behind the grill and no one said anythng to us.
I guess you just never know though. But, I have to say I never saw anyone with a note on their truck for having it parked side ways with one wheel in the grass like we got back on Labor Day weekend on the 1900 loop. So, who knows how or when they choose to follow the rules they create. We also saw at least four sites with major decorations, and yes they used the common areas. I say who cares...personally I enjoy all the stuff and as long as your considrate to your neighbors (whom usually arent consider it to you), why should their be a problem? I know my 8ft Mickey Christmas blow up was right in front of what probably was the bedroom window of a motorcoach next to my site and even though the thing was fully on my site, I made sure it was on a timer and not left on all night. So, I say just be considerate. Don't place the tent way off the back of your site, be truthful on your reservation about how many people they'll be and make sure your tenters are considerate of your neighbors....no loud radios, yelling or partying after 11pm.
Peace and happiness for a joyous Christmas season Disboarders!
We booked a premium site last month. Got the 700 loop and the lot was not that big. We ended up with a lot that had a dirt banking with logs to hold back the dirt. The table was at the end of the pad and we couldn't get the golf cart behind the coach to charge.
