Premium Plan for One Night Just for the Tours, LaNouba, etc.??

LaNouba is dark during our entire visit (May 27-30). Did I read here that we will get a gift card instead? How does that work, will they just give me one at check-in or do I need to request it at some point? Any other ideas for evenings after dinner? Just DH and I. Thanks!

I'm not sure how you go about getting the gift card, but yes, I did read that somewhere also.

Are you on Premium or Platinum plan? We are doing a fireworks cruise one evening after dinner (Platinum). It might depend on how late you are eating...if it is early enough, you could still do a preferred fireworks viewing at MK or EPCOT (if it makes sense to use a park admission that day).

Thanks, I was just planning on booking premium. If anyone else has more details on how the free card works and how much it's worth, I'd appreciate it. :)

Hi, If you look under tours at Disneyworld on their site you will see a listing of the tours. You can also call and ask which tours are included. You might get different answers but you can ask to be connected to the dept that handles tours. You can book most everything at the 180 day window. The Backstage Magic Tour is Platinum only. The two tours are very different. KTTK tour is only Magic Kingdom (very cool tour) Backstage Magic is 3 parks and also a very cool tour. Hope this helps a little.

Happy Planning!
~Nannette

Thanks!

Our schedule for our Platinum Plan trip for July is booked! :dance3:Hotel and DVC nights are confirmed! Our 3 tours are scheduled! Cirque seats are a go! Reservations made for meals including Coral Reef, V&A's and Cali Grill! Our spa treatment times are reserved! And our Wishes Fireworks cruise is BOOKED! My friend, DisneyYES, is getting to be a pro at this! We are actually a little disapointed that our plans are already in place and our planning is nearly all over!:rotfl2:

Hi, question... is there enough time between the two to do both on the same day?? I'm actually doing this plan for 7 days but if I could do those on the same day I would like that I think. I'll wait for your itinerary to be posted to see how that will work out.

Also did they give you a list of the tours that are part of the plan... I'm wondering if the Nature by Design tour at Epcot is part of this plan?? I don't see it listed.

Technically... no, there is not enough time! We are just going to make it work! while on the Dolphins tour last month my friend and travel mate asked the guide if it was possible and she wad told yes. I was nervous about it until I saw that someone else on this thread already successfully did both tours back to back! We are adventurous and are going for it!:thumbsup2

Cool can't wait to hear how it works out. I have both tours planned but on two different days. Since I have 7 full days of this plan I think I'll just leave it like I have it unless something changes when I actually have all this stuff booked. I'm going in November so I still have 70 days until I can actually book anything but I have a crazy spreadsheet with everything entered in. Let me know how the actually plan works out once you book it all!! Also the Backstage tour is really really amazing DD and I did that tour last year and we learned so much and had such a great time!!

Just started planning our premium plan... I read about half of these posts so sorry if these answers are elsewhere :confused3 I also cannot open the pdf files on WDWs website, don't know if that's our computer or something wrong with the site.

1) Where do you find an actual schedule of all of the tours and activities? I have found information on other sites but want to make sure they are accurate.

2) Do you wait until 180 days to schedule everything? Do you just call member services?

3) Is the 7 hour backstage magic tour included in either plan? I didn't see it listed on WDWs site under the package, but the other websites are saying it is. If it is, does it include just about everything that KTTK does or should they each be considered?

Thanks so much.... the 40 pages that I've read of this thread have been very helpful!

I posted this before, but in case you missed it, this is a great info page on planning a Prem/Plat plan

Premium & Platinum Planning

The biggest caution I can add - and if you actually READ Mary's trip report from when she did the Platinum Plan, you will see she offers the same advice - don't try to cram in everything and leave yourself MORE travel time than you think you need. Honestly, it is better to enjoy the activites you CAN do, than to rush from one to the other and be worried about getting to the next on time! A frazzled experience is not ideal...trust me.

I read it several times, and I'm up to around page 60 of this thread! Unfortunately, the more I read, the more I want to do! I have picked up on some great tips, like opting for the late dinner seatings that may help me squeeze more in.... this will be our first adults only trip, so I'm ok with going commando, but I do not want to be stressed during a massage that I'm going to miss a dinner reservation! I think once I get all the info on exact times and places we'll be traveling, I'll be able to have a more realistic idea of what we can do. Thanks again everyone for all the info!

So is the loss of the photo session official? It was in the pamphlet that I saw as I booked the trip but seems like it's gone now :(

According to the Poly IPO and the PhotoPass CM I spoke with when I called to book my photo session, yes, it is official. Supposedly it was removed as of January 1, although some have reported getting it included after that date. I'm going forward believing what I've been told - that it isn't included - and if I arrive and it turns out I do get it included, I'll just be happy. :goodvibes

ETA: I see you're in Omaha - I'm NOT in Omaha but I'm graduating from Creighton in May! Hooray!

This is the response I just got about this:

"Dear Ben,

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.
We are delighted to hear you are planning a visit!

While we sincerely appreciate your interest, Ben, we are unable to find
a resort photo session and print package as a component of any of the
current packages.

We hope this clarifies things for you, and we look forward to your
visit.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact
us.

Please include your full name, E-Mail address, and reservation number if
applicable on all correspondence.

Sincerely,

Ann P

PLEASE NOTE: All information is subject to change without notice and
