Premium Plan for One Night Just for the Tours, LaNouba, etc.??

We did the preferred viewing for Illuminations when were there on October 15th. We thought it wasn't very good. It is on the boat launch near Morocco and the view is partially obstructed. What really disappointed us though was that the speakers on the launch were broken, and because we were a distance away from the nearest speakers, hearing the music/narration was difficult. To me, a big part of the show is the sound!

Although the area wasn't terrible, I wouldn't watch from there again. You might be better off in the CP spot or finding your own spot.

:thumbsup2

Thanks for the information! That's disappointing. The music makes the show for me, so I have to be able to hear it! I imagine we'll try to find our own spot, if that's the case. Seems like 3 reserved seatings of CP would mean a lot of people are jostling for a good view at that location, and since we're doing the last CP show at 8:15, we'd be among the last to get there.

We have always had pretty good luck with finding a good spot very close to show-time, so I imagine we'll just hope Epcot isn't too busy that night! :thumbsup2

Yesterday I received the phone call that Dolphins would be canceled and Sea Aqua would resume on the 22nd... Today I received the phone call Sea Aqua would be canceled as well... sucks!

Aw, that's too bad. They must really be having problems.

What are you doing in place of those two tours? Now I'm holding my breath--I'm booked for the 30th.

Not really much to do...I think lots of water sports. I've done pretty much all the tours already. I have 6 nights 7 days of the platinum package so lots of mini golf maybe archery and a lot of boat rentals and water sports! Good luck on your tours hope they go on for you!

So excited. Got my phone call from V&A regarding allergies, etc., packing is almost done and itinerary is set. We leave Sunday on the auto train and have a day at DHS before we check into the Poly for our Plat Plan. After months of planning and last minute rearranging it's finally here. I'll post our experience once we return. To anyone else going soon - ENJOY!

Have fun! Can't wait to hear how it went!

We're getting close, too, about 2 1/2 weeks till we get there. I'm itching to start packing!

Not sure if this has been asked before but there are too many pages to search. For anyone who has done the jet ski tour, what did you wear? I was thinking we'd wear our swim suits under quick dry shorts (girls) and the guys could wear their trunks and a tshirt. What about footwear? Will they be getting wet? Thanks for any help.

We wore regular clothes and just barely got splashed at all. We wore flip floPs but went barefooted on the tour. Shoes would get very wet.

I also just wore regular clothes but had crocs on the feet. That worked very well. I got a few drops of water a couple of times, but if I were to do it again, I would still wear regular clothes.

I did the tour and LOVED it! I also had my camera with me (waterproof but it didn't get wet) and the person conducting the tour took a picture of me with the magic kingdom in the background.

Thanks DCDisney and let'sgo. I'd much rather wear regular clothes than a bathing suit with shorts. I'll print off the last of my paperwork when I get home and check over my lists. Tomorrow the last items go in the suitcases and we'll be ready to head out. So excited!:goodvibes

Joining (late) as we have a 2 day platinum coming up in Dec. Just got a call from someone regarding our Yuletide Fantasy tour - anyone know of cancellations for that? We had really wanted Keys to the Kingdom tour, but were told it wasn't offered through the holidays, so went with the Yuletide one. My DD will be bummed if it gets cancelled too! I am waiting to hear from the CM...

I wouldn't expect that the Yuletide tour would be cancelled. The ones that have been cancelled lately are the ones in the Seas pavilion, because they are having trouble with the water/clarity.

I didn't know the KTTK tour wasn't offered for part of December. I'm really glad we are getting our trip in before the end of November. I'm so excited about it!

i talked to Tours yesterday and was told the the Seas should be up and running by our trip on the 14th of Dec. I hope so...that's the only activities DH has scheduled.

We are very excited about our platinum trip---dining at V&A for the first time.

I just got the call today that my Dolphins tour was cancelled for Nov 30. I mentioned to the CM that I was expecting that was going to happen because I had heard of others being cancelled. She asked if I had heard it on the net and said that they prefer it when you hear it from Disney directly.

Hmmm, now I have to decide what I want to put in its place.

we got the dreaded call today cancelling dh's dive/dolphin tours on Dec 15/16.

I went on the Nature Inspired Desire tour (although not part of the Plat Pkg) and we went backstage at the Seas into the control and met the chap. I just straight up asked him what was going on with all the cancelling of the tours and he ummmed and ahhh'd - it was obvious he just operates the machinery and didn't really get involved in the decisions. The Tour Guide piped up and said "well - there are some upgrades going on and you know Disney is ultra conservative about guest safety and does not want to run the risk of anyone possibly getting ill."

this seems to be a very interesting idea, sounds like a great way to enjoy from your money. you can also check out for more entertainment packages which can be in your budget.

I took the undiscovered future world tour this morning.... We went into the living seas.... It looks pretty good. After a few mins into the tour the guide explained they had been having issues with the tank. He said that about 900 fish had died... That's a lot of fish! He did explain it had something to do with the filtration system and that it was actually the dolphins that tipped them off. There was a very bad case of bacteria in the tank. He said they are continuing to work out the problems. Anyway good luck to anyone with upcoming trips hope it works outfor you!

We took a trip to WDW in Sept. We had 1 day Plantium plan an 10 day free dinnning. So we had to buy park tickets for both plans. I thought I would be stuck wth 1 day tickets since we always get dinning and they require you buy new tickets. But since we live in Southern Calif. I checked with Disneyland and I was able to use them there. I was able to get in to both Disneyland an Calif. Adventure even though it wasnt a park hopper at Disneyworld.T urns out you are able to use your Disneyworld tickets if you have unused days and do it in the 14 day period.:cool1::worship::yay::yay::dance3::woohoo::woohoo:

I'm in the midst of packing for our premium stay! :yay:

We're all so excited about the tours and CP on Monday night. I still have tons to do before we leave, but I keep telling myself, "just one more day!" :cool1:

We did online check-in for all 3 of our reservations today (room-only, package, room-only) - hoping they see the request to keep us in the same rooms for the duration. Seems like it would be silly for them to make us change rooms; all our reservations are for standard rooms and it seems like it would be more work for the staff to have to ready 2 rooms (clean sheets, etc) than to just leave us alone!

Crossing my fingers for good weather and a glitch-free trip!
