Does anyone know how far the premium outlets are from Disney Springs? We will not have a car and we are staying at CBR. My thought was to have Uber pick us up either at the hotel or somewhere in Disney Springs if it is closer from there and drop off and then Uber back to Disney Springs when we are done shopping. Does anyone know if there are worth going to?

I've never taken Uber or stayed at CBR but the outlet mall if fairly close to Disney Springs. Depending on when you go the main issue will be traffic. From Disney Springs you basically go toward the Crossroads shopping area, take a right onto 535 then your first left onto Vineland Rd to the outlet mall. Maybe three miles. I can't imagine CBR could be closer. Traffic to the mall is worst on the weekend and at rush hour like most things. I personally like to go during the week when it opens and not busy. It's a pretty standard outlet mall area but it does have a few really high end places that are fun to walk through.

I see that your thread title references I-Drive. While, there is an outlet in the I-Drive area, it's a long way from the Disney World area. Here's a map of the three largest outlets, along with Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney Springs.

Forget about the Orlando International Premium Outlets. The outlet mall janicept writes about is the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets. If you're taking a cab or ride share there, I don't think your starting point is going to matter much. Provided it's not rush hour, I think getting to the outlet from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort might actually be faster than from Disney Springs because there are fewer stop lights.

The other outlet mall is the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores. If you really want to be thrifty, they have a free shuttle that stops at the hotels directly across the street from the Marketplace section of Disney Springs. You can check out the schedule and see their list of stores here:

There is really no comparison between the Vineland and the Lake Bueno Vista outlets. The Vineland one is much more upscale, lots more stores and much, much better! It would be a short Uber ride

Uber!!
I took my daughter and her bestie to the outlets last year, we used Uber for the first time...loved it; our one driver works at EPCOT, both vehicles were very clean and the drivers were incredible we will definitely be using Uber again in November.

The Lake Buena Vista factory store outlets are very small and not worth your time unless you have the time to do all three. If I had to rank them the Vineland location is a 9.1,the International drive location is an 8.4 and the LBV factory stores is a 4.6.Both Vineland and I-Drive have tons of stores and are always full and very chaotic.Vineland however is superior in a lot of ways, much bigger Disney outlet, much better parking and safer. The International drive location has a lot of stores but is closer to a sketchy area and on one visit I saw broken glass on the ground and on another visit the car next to me was broken into,I won't go there again at night and the only reason I would would be if I'm looking for a store it has that Vineland doesn't have, like the New Balance store. The best outlet in Florida is Sawgrass Mills in Broward county. They pretty recently opened a Tanger outlet in Daytona, its really pretty but nowhere near as big as the two Orlando Premium outlets,Sawgrass is the biggest,I think with well over 300 stores.

I've read you can catch the public bus across the road from Disney Springs, but you have to change buses somewhere en route so a little long winded, so maybe a taxi or Uber is your best bet without a car. We drive there but we aware of the bottleneck traffic when getting back to to I4 for Disney, which may send your fare sky high. Having said that, we go every year to Vineland and wouldn't miss it.
