I think you will find it hard to get UC to Tokyo with Virgin as I am sure they use Airbus aircraft on that route that do not have an upper deck.

At PE you would be at the front of the plane and I am sure that will be fine.

UC does not necessarily mean that it is on the upper deck, this isn't the case for the MCO routes all the upper deck is PE. Upper deck on the other routes serviced by the 747 is a mixture of PE and UC. As OWK says the Airbus is all one deck, UC at the front, PE behind and Economy behind PE. PE is never at the front of the Airbus.
