We have single day water park passes that I bought about 3 years ago and never used. Can we receive credit towards DVC discounted premium APs? Would the credit be the current water park price, or the face value of the tickets? I read the big ticket thread but it didn't really address upgrading a single day water park ticket.

I don't HAVE to know this right now, I was just curious. I can always wait until we are buying the new APs and ask at Guest Relations. I am too lazy to call MS. :rolleyes1

I don't think you can upgrade water park credits. You could upgrade an unused MYW pass, but not the perks tied to the pass. I'd just hang onto the water park admission and use that at some time in the future since they will not expire.

Thanks! That might be why I couldn't find anything that mentioned upgrading a water park ticket. We will just buy regular APs and plan to hit the water park one day. We don't need the premium APs - I just thought if we could get credit towards them the price difference would be fairly small between the regular and the premium. Obviously we aren't big on water parks or I wouldn't still have these tickets. :rotfl2:

Are they WP options on a MYW tx or are they actual 1 day WP tix (with nothing else atttached to them)?

I would think that if they were WP only tix, you should be able to apply the value toward an AP or a MYW. As Doc said, I wouldn't expect to able to apply it if it's an add-on to an exisiting MYW.

Also, just as an FYI, you can only apply 1 ticket to 1 new/upgraded ticket. If you have 3 WP tix then you would apply one each to 3 new tix.

They are stand alone, single day water park tickets. I think I paid maybe $39 each for them. DH, DS and I all need APs so I would do one water park ticket per AP. :) I wouldn't think the "options" left over on a MYW ticket would be good for anything, but I thought these passes might. Eh, guess we'll find out eventually! ;)

I would think they might apply to a PAP since the PAP includes the WPs. Not totally sure about an AP. Maybe PM Cheshire Figment to be certain???

Sorry I wasn't more help.

:) I did PM Cheshire Figment, and this was the reply:

A single day used water park ticket can be upgraded to:

1. A water park AP.
2. A water park and Disney Quest AP.
3. A MYW ticket with WPF&M.
4. Applied at full value to an existing MYW ticket to add WPF&M to that ticket.
5. Purchase of a Premium Annual Pass or Disney Premier Pass, or
6. Applied at full value to an existing MYW ticket or any level of Annual Pass to upgrade to a Premium Annual Pass or Disney Premier Pass.

As long as it is within 14 days of use of the water park ticket.

So I will definitely ask about applying the value of the water park pass to a new PAP. :thumbsup2
