Premium Annual Pass Discount Question????

My husband and I are DVC Members and will be at Disney World in May with two of our good friends. We want to take advantage of the DVC Member Discount for the Premium Annual Pass for us but wanted to know if we can purchase them for our friends (with the discount) who are not DVC members. It does say that a DVC member must show a valid DVC Member ID to pick up to 6 passes. Does anyone know the details? Thank you in advance for your help!

You can only get the discount for DVC members and their immediate family living at the same address. Not only do you have to show your DVC member cards to collect the tickets but you will need to show proof of address for each person also.

ETA: From the notes at the bottom of the page on the DVC Members site:

*You must present your Disney Vacation Club Member ID Card and ALL ADULTS must present a valid driver's license or state identification card showing they reside in the same household to purchase or redeem these offers. Limit of 8 of each of these passes/passports per household. Passes and Passports purchased on this offer must be activated by January 31, 2015. These special prices are subject to change or termination without notice. Restrictions may apply.

Well, my daughter did when she bought a DVC member discounted AP. I didn't have to but she did so I can only assume they were able to tell what the address should be on her ID.

Regardless, what the OP is asking is not allowed. Only DVC members and their immediate family residing at the same address are eligible for the discounted passes.

I bought one for my 12 year old nephew just 4 weeks ago. But, since the people that you are inquiring about are adults, I'm pretty sure that would probably not work.

I had bought a bunch of AP vouchers and to activate my hubby had to show his ID to match his address to mine.
So I'm sure you wouldn't be able to activate the APs for your friends without proof of address.

So you activated it??? Unless he lives with you, that should not have been allowed.
