How many of you have ever walked into a WDW merchandise location looking for something specific and you just don't find it?

I feel myself doing this often, and one thing i would love to see at the parks are really good action figures. Who doesn't love them? Yeah they have those PVC sets catered to different films, but i feel like that also doesn't cater to everyone looking for something thats other than Frozen, or Princess films. I think Disney would win if they released good quality action figures revolving around classic films that everyone loves. I know i would love to see some from movies like, Hercules, Alice in Wonderland,Lion King, and Aladdin just to name a few. I could see myself paying between $20-$30 for a really good action figure that Id want to collect from different films. It would even be cool if they were specially released on different dates to get people excited about it. I know theres def some collectors of Disney memorabilia that would love this. Thoughts? Comments? What action figures would you like to see?

They do have some exclusive in-park Indiana Jones figures. They're not particularly special, other than they are only sold in the parks. Also, there may be some Star Wars merch that is similar.

They aren't in-park, but I love the Star Wars Elite Series Die-Cast figs. They are pricey, but often on sale! They have them at The Disney Store.

Yeah, Ive seen those. They're cool and great for Star Wars fans, but I'm a big fan of the classic movies and I feel that they kind of neglect them sometimes. I would love to see something different related to the films everyone loves!

Yeah, I hear ya. I just think the Elite Series would be a good format for those figures. I would definitely be into some classic movie figures in die-cast.

I agree in general that Disney misses the mark on souvenirs in some cases. I don't know about the availability now (we head down there tomorrow!) but when we went to WDW many years ago, we couldn't find simple Disney charms (for the old style charm bracelets) anywhere. It seemed crazy that they wouldn't sell them. I guess many people prefer to collect pins instead...

I know when I worked at the World of Disney Store here in NYC and at the one at Disney Springs a few years ago, that the build a charm station happened to be a big area for loss prevention. I could see that being the reason they chose to phase that out. Disney Pandora charms seem to have taken over.
