Hi, We are planning on staying at the Premiere Classe Marne La Vallee St Thibault Des Vignes, please could someone tell me how close to Disney this is and whether we would need to get the train to disney.

Many thanks

Mandy

Hi mandy and welcome to the dlp boards!!

not too sure where this hotel is but i'll have a look for you - if it is in marne la vallee then I'm guessing it is pretty close to Disneyland as marne la vallee is not a huge area - i'll look into this for you though!

Hi Mandy, welcome to the DIS! :welcome:

Hi, We are planning on staying at the Premiere Classe Marne La Vallee St Thibault Des Vignes, please could someone tell me how close to Disney this is and whether we would need to get the train to disney.

Will you have a car or will you be relying on public transport??

I don't want to worry you but looking at the map (on the Premiere link in the Hotel FAQ) the nearest train station seems to be Torcy (3 stops away from DLRP) and I estimate it to be a couple of miles from this hotel. If you haven't already booked, perhaps it might be worth considering one a little closer to the parks?

Hi, Elaine

Which hotels do you reccommend outside the park. I'm going with some friends for our joint 30th birthdays in March so we're not fussed about staying in a Disney Hotel, if I was taking the kids it would be a different matter!!!!!! We just want a reasonable hotel close to the park maybe one stop on the train!!!!

Any advise appreciated

Mandy

OP, there is also a Premiere Classe hotel at Bussy-St-Georges (or Georges-St-Bussy, I will never learn the proper name), which is a 10-minute drive from DLP (Take A4, direction of Paris, exit 12, right at the Exit), there is a RER nearby.

Another cheap option, but you need a car, is a Bed and Breakfast at Villeneuve-le-Comte. My mom and I paid 57 EUR per night for the room, and this included a wonderful breakfast. I know they also have a "family suite" for more than two people. It's very close to DCR.

Mandy - a disney hotel may be better value than you think? To have a look at hotels for you,

-how many of you are there?
-will you be driving?
-will you be going into DLP AND paris, or just dlp?
-how long are you planning on staying?

it may well work out that a disney hotel works out at the best price for you, as it includes park tickets and breakfast.

let us know :D

We are wanting to go on the 7th March for 3 nights. There are 3 adults and we are just wanting to do Disney. Flying from Leeds/Bradford.

Many thanks

Mandy

Have a look at the official Disney site for prices for the Hotel Santa Fe ~ this is the cheapest Disney hotel and the price will include breakfast (and park passes if booked through Disney).

Check out the Kyriad and Holiday Inn ~ these are the cheapest "near the magic" hotels. There are free shuttle buses to/from the parks or it is possible to walk (allow 25 minutes).

One RER train journey away is Val d'Europe where there are some new budget hotels.

Have a look in our Hotel FAQ sticky for reviews and links to websites where you can get prices from.

Happy planning. :goodvibes

HI

I am staying at the Premier Classe on tuesday for 4 nights. I hav been told its right next to disney and there is an RER station 10 minutes walk away.

I got an abosolute bargain of £97 for four nights on .booking, com might be worth a look if you havent already booked the hotel.

I recently stayed in the Ibis @ val d'europe. It's one stop away from Disney and is a 10 second walk from the train station. I wrote a mini-review of it which can be found in the hotels sticky. It was a decent hotel and was only built this year so it's still nice and new inside. It costs £50 a night for a double room. There was also an etap hotel (also brand new) next door that offered triple rooms for around £30 a night, not sure how good it was but it looked ok.

The train from val d'europe takes less than 2mins to Disney!

Thanks for everyone's help.

I've had a look on the Disney site and found a room for 3 nights/4 days in the Santa Fe hotel for £412.98 including breakfast and disney tickets, we're going to book this as it seems very reasonable. Just got to book flights now!!

Thanks again

Mandy
