Premier Passholders - Preferred Parking fee

We just visited the parks last week and two out of the three times we used the parking garage, the attendants made us pay $4 for Preferred Parking upgrade. We tried to explain that we have the Premier pass and preferred self parking is free, as shown on their website...

But they still made us pay. Well, both times my husband went to customer service and got a refund for the $4 and they said they would take care of making sure the parking attendants were aware of this policy.

Just curious if any other Premier passholders have had this problem?

Next time, just valet park.

We did take advantage of valet on other days, but we chose to use the parking garage so we could access our vehicle to get our warmer clothes if needed.

Hmmmm...I wonder how this will affect those of us with Preferred AP's?

They probably press the wrong button; happen once were they scanned my pass but didn't look that it was premier. Then I told them I wanted preferred - they didn't change the receipt but gave me the color strip for my windshield. One and only time out of about 15 last year (haven't been since the last christmas concert).

Hey Todd! I don't know about that. Do you get free preferred parking, or just free standard parking with that pass? I'd say it won't affect you. How're you doing?

And I think "lachica" is right. I think we got the seasonal workers who couldn't find the correct button on the computer. No harm done. I was just curious if others had the same issue. And the guest services folks were super nice about refunding us. We even got 3 unlimited express passes the 2nd time it happened. However, we didn't need them because it was after 4pm and we get that privilege with our AP's.

Doing fine Melissa...trying to stay warm down here! With the PAP I have, I get free regular parking...not preferred but I don't ever pay for the upgrade any more.
