Has anyone ever received the 15% merchandise discount at a "Disney owned merchandise location" within the "WDW resort property" using the Premier Annual Passport (a pass for both coasts) ?

Disney makes concerted efforts to distinguish the merchandise discounts available for a regular pass vs the premier pass, 10% vs 15% on merchandise in WDW

It's extremely easy to obtain the 20% merchandise discount in Disneyland, in fact they actually ask if you if you possess the premium annual pass during checkout.

I have spoken to numerous Disney employees, a few have admitted that the advertised benefits can be confusing to them as well.

The standard answer is that Passholders get 10% discounts at Disney owned locations, and there are 3 locations that provide a 15%. Theses locations are "Non Disney owned" businesses, 2 are in Downtown Disney/ Springs, and the third is a restaurant in Animal Kingdom.

Disney clearly mentions that "up to 15%" can be found "throughout many locations" in the World Property, and requires they are only good at "only Disney Owned Stores".

My question to Disney, which Disney owned stores, on property, can you get these advertised 15% discount?

I do not to accept the mention of theses 3 non Disney owned locations listed on the regular Passholder discount page.

If anyone can shed some light on this subject please do.

Otherwise Disney should remove their current wording from their website, that easily misleads one to think that you will receive a higher level of discounts vs a regular Pass. To me it's a classic bait and switch?

Thanks

Premier passholder here. Get the 20% no problem at Disneyland and the 10% at the Walt Disney Parks -- very rare to get that 15%. We usually will limit our spending to only items that are at Walt Disney World for that reason - even with the lower tax rate we'll still do better at Disneyland. EPCOT is a really pain for us. We want to buy everything there :)

The discounts at WDW are the same regardless of pass level. Some 3rd party operated locations offer a 15% discount. The discount at Disney owned & operated locations is 10%.
