Seems sort of funny to be thankful that "just" a roof was torn off...but I am so happy to hear that is the worst of it (for them at least, there are still so many others that need good thoughts and prayers). She said the worst part to live with right now is actually the loss of electricity and phone line. She thinks it might be over a week before it's restored...I hope that estimation was a long one!

Anyway, if you can continue to spare some prayers for all of those in TX and LA right now and also in specific for the continued safety of our friend as he continues to help those in need after Ike.

Your friends will definitely be in our prayers!!!

IT does almost feel like we are moving. Dh just informed me that I have a total of five large suitcases, one smallish medium suitcase, a hanging garment bag, (the stroller) and a carry on bag in which to fit all of our stuff. I have not a clue how my mounds of stuff will fit! He is more strict than the airlines!

Stricter than the airlines, eh?? I am just glad to hear that he does not deduct $$$ from your WDW spending allowance PER BAG!!!

Got a postcard yesterday - She said they are having fun. (Of Course! With all the preplanning Jay did, how could they NOT have fun?) Hope her friends in Houston are ok - it was over a week before we heard from ours - they were without power for a week and said some areas were STILL without power even then.

We are back!! I will begin our trip report soon. However, at this point, I am just hoping to navigate the piles of laundry, mazes of suitcases and stacks of "things we had to have".

We had a wonderful time (not hard being as we were at WDW and then on a Disney cruise). We had a few snags and some really magical moments. Also way more then enough good food to fill us up until the end of the month.

Thanks for all of the well wishes while we were gone. I am excited to be able to relive our vacation by writing the trip report and sharing it with you all! As soon as the "we just got back" chaos settles, my fingers will be flying!

I hope you are all well! I missed my DIS friends while I was gone!
