hi, my wife is 1 month pregnant and we're both wondering if she can still go on all the rides at Anaheim's Disneyland? Please let me know, we're going tomorrow.

She should speak to her doctor. Congratulations!

are there any other discussions on here?? are there any risks imposed by here goin on rides being that shes only a month pregnant

Congratulations on your happy news! I would say that she should ask her doctor. There are several rides that warn against riding while pregnant...being someone who has had a miscarraige, I would not ride any of those rides, but that's just me. Better safe than sorry, I always say.

Have a wonderful time!

I would also talk to your Doctor. I have gone twice while pregnant, 1st time I was 3 months and second time I was 8 months and neither time was I allowed to ride any rides that had caution on them for pregnant women. Better to be safe!

I agree with what the others have said. WDW posts any warnings before going on any ride. I went when I was preg. with my middle, 7 months. I'm not a thrill ride kinda girl, so it didn't really bother me. If you ride the Kilamnjaro Safari, ask to be seated in the front, it is less bouncy. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations !!! :earsboy: as for an answer to your question I would agree with most of the others and best to ask your doctor

There are several rides she will want to avoid. All the rides will have a "warning" if she shouldn't ride.

But off hand at Disneyland Park she should avoid, matterhorn, space mountian, splash mountain, thunder mountain, indian jones, autopia, star tours.

At DCA, she should avoid tower of tower, soarin', screaming, malliboomer, mullholand madness.

FYI there is a board here just for Disneyland

I went to Disneyland when I was 8 weeks pregnant and went on everything, including Indy and California Screamin'. I only went on Indy once, since I re-thought my plan after riding it the first time ;). A month later I went to WDW and I skipped all the thrill rides (and I am a roller-coaster junkie). I just didn't feel up to going upside-down and getting bounced around anymore.

Honestly, I think 1 month is OK for any ride. But that's just me. If you're really worried, then ask her doctor what s/he thinks.

I am 8 1/2 weeks pregnant and we were thinking about going to Busch Gardens next weekend. I asked my OB and she said that she does not recommend going on amusement park rides. She said that when I was 6 weeks. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Talk to the doctor--but she should be fine.

Amniotic fluid is the world's best shock absorber :)

Most of those signs say when you are "expecting" and are geared for those further along. They don't want to cause any early deliveries.

She should be fine. But check with doc to be safe.
