My DW was 4 months pregnant when we went last Nov/Dec, and we had a great time. We took things nice and slow, and spent plenty of time just resting, eating in nice restaurants, and generally watching the world go by. Not a typical Disney vacation, but it was a nice variation for us.

The weather at that time of year helped a lot too - mostly warm days and not too humid. I don't think we'd have gone in the height of summer.

Our little boy (Ryan) is now just 11 days old, and we're looking forward to taking him back in October to some of the places that his parents have enjoyed so much :D

We were due to go this October but had to bring it forward to the start of this month as DW found out she was pregnant soon after booking. She was 12 weeks gone but only struggled with the heat.

We made sure we had a water park day or similar every 3rd/4th day but because the heat was unbelievable during the last two weeks, the rest of us were getting just as knackered ourselves.

Our heaviest day was when we did a whole day in disney and then Fantasmic in the evening which she conceded was in retrospect a bit excessive.

I would reccomend a mid afternoon break on as many days as you can snatch, preferably back at your accomodation if it is close enough.

Yes, done it twice. Both times I was around 20 weeks. To be honest I found the flight harder work than the parks as my feet swelled up like balloons and I had to keep drinking gallons of water! If I felt tired in the parks, we would just nip into an air con shop or restaurant for a breather. I never felt too bad. Plenty of fluids, a misting spray and a gentle itinerary worked for me!

If you are heavily pregnant when you travel, then dont be shy to rent a wheelchair, especially somewhere like Epcot. As long as you dont "abuse" the system (to queue jump, which, I am sure you would never do) then its fine.

Also, DH always mentioned it to the car park attendant who almost always let us park in VIP parking (except one old dragon at the MK who didnt seem to believe I was pregnant!). Sea World were exceptional on this score and as well as VIP parking, pointed out where the medical center was in case I needed anything. They really were great.

You will find a lot of the rides are billed as unsuitable for pregnant women. Of course, I wouldnt recommend going on Space Mountain, but I did do other "forbidden" rides, like Kilimanjaro Safari and Kali River rapids. Even if you decide not to ride, there is so much to see and do you wont feel left out.

Have a great tip.
Allie.
