Pregnant in Disney...

I know before I was pregnant I remember reading about rides being pregnant in Disney but I am not sure where I found them. Now, I need to locate it and wondering if there is anywhere that discusses this??!!?!

I don't know about anything specific, but if you're asking about what you can and cannot ride, I know my doctor said it's mostly the abrupt stops that are the risk. IE, ToT is a big NO, but IASW, no problem. My doctors told me to use my best judgment when I asked before we went to a coaster park here.

It's much better than following their signs. They said on the sign at the water park here that our Lazy River (the one where you sit on a tube and just float, no drops or machine or anything) is off-limits to girls who are pregnant! We were like "Um, no, I'm going on it anyways".

Just talk to your OB and use your best judgment. But, yeah, they just said, if it has an abrupt stop, it's out, because it can cause the placenta to detach from your uterine wall.

How far along will you be when you visit?

I have visited WDW last year at 6 mos. and other than roller coasters there was not much that I could not ride. Just prepare yourself for a slower trip. Commando style touring is not really an option.

That was what I was looking for. I will be just 2 months, so it is very early. Also, my daughter is 3 so we will be not be doing any crazy rollercoasters, etc.

One ride on there that I still did when I was 4 months pregnant was the safari. Just ask to sit in the front row where it doesn't shake around as much. No matter what you do don't sit in the back!
