Hi,

I will be about 20 weeks pregnant when we go to DL in 3 weeks. What rides or things can or can't I do? Any tips or suggestions about being pregnant at DL?

Any help would be appreciated!

I have never been to DL pregnant but I have heard the rule that anything a 2 y/o can't do you shouldn't do. Make sure to stay hydrated and take breaks as needed!

Our 1st family trip was March of 2006 DD was 2 (she turned 3 that July) my sister was with us and she was pregnant (her DS was born in Sept. of that year) It worked out well ~ any ride DD couldn't go on my sister shouldn't have gone on so the 2 of them stayed together while DS, my mom & I went on rides they couldn't.

We are APs and made several trips to DLR and one trip to WDW while I was pregnant with my DS. At DL you should avoid the mountains and Star Tours, but that is about it unless you have other rides that bother you, such as the fact that I don't do spinny rides.

At DCA you should skip Screamin', MM, ToT, but I rode Soarin' up until about my 7th month.

Pace yourself, stay well hydrated and well fed (it's a great excuse to try all the DLR snacks that you want), and make sure to take a belly shot in front of the castle or with Mickey, or whatever it is that would be sentimental to you!

I also bought my DS's first set of mouse ears and got both his in uetero nickname (purchased at WDW before we knew whether we were having a boy or a girl) and then another set with his name embroidered on them from DL!

Have fun and congratulations!!!

I'd definitely add Indiana Jones to the list of rides to skip at DLR.

This will be my 3rd time going pregnant. The brochure you get with the map of disneyland shows which rides you should not go on while preggo. Most of the rides are fine.

I just went for the first of my sure to be many trips pregnant. And the standard rule I have heard is anything with a height restriction is typically out. I think there is one or two excemptions on that rule (Soar'n and some still do Splash). But over all there is a lot that you can ride.

But I can tell you I already miss Space Mountain, I wish I had done it in spite of the long line the time before last, as I have no idea now when I will get back on it :sad2:

I brought a water bottle and filled it at many of the restaurants and know were the bathrooms are :)
