We just renewed our annual passes and will be going over in a few weeks and again in July, for a couple days at a time.

I'd love to hear your tips and pointers about visiting the parks while pregnant!
I'm 6 months along and the swelling feet have started.
Other than that, feeling good.

I have 3 other children, so not much of a chance to rest!

Thanks for sharing if you respond,

Julie in Tampa

Going to WDW pregnant in July with three children can be tough, I know I did it with two children. We had to pick the most important attractions to visit since I was not going to spend the entire day walking and on lines in the heat. So, we planned and mapped out our plan for the day. To get some breaks try the indoor attractions like, Donald's Philharmagic (sp), ride the train all around MK or even the ourdoor shows like Lion King at AK, etc... Sometimes DH would take the little ones to some rides while I shopped around the stores in ac :cloud9: . My favorite parks during that time were MGM, lots of sitting for shows and rides and Epcot because while the little ones did the arts and crafts I'd grab a seat and rest, we took our time walking slowly through the countries and through the stores. Hope this helps, good luck :thumbsup2

We were at disney last june and I was 7 months pregnant. I was almost not able to go due to the dr's wanting to put me on bed rest. I convinced them I would go easy. Like the pp says...we did a lot of shows and dh would take our son on rides and i would grab a bench and rest. I had no problems and it was easier than I thought. I did miss doing some of the rides but since we were there with our son we couldn't do a lot of them anyways. Make sure you drink lots of water and there is always yummy fresh fruit around.

We had a nice trip while I was 4.5 mos pregnant. I had no morning sickness and at that point, not too much tiredness. I just kept up with fluids and took lots of breaks. You are an old pro at this so you should have no problems. Enjoy yourself!

As a PP stated, drink LOTS of fluids. Especially going in June and July, I would try to have a bottle of water with you at all times. I was 6 months PG with my son a few years ago when we went and I just had to go at my own pace. I did a lot of sitting while the rest of the gang went on rides, and that was just fine with me! You'll just have to remind the other kiddos that mommy can't keep her normal pace up and will have to visit the potty more often! Have fun!

Went to WDW in May 2005 and was 5 months pregnant. Talk to your OB and make sure the dr has no problems with you going. Obey the signs that say you should not ride the rides, etc. Drink a lot of water. Take breaks and rest in the a/c!! I spent some quality time at Cosmic Ray's.:)

I am a father of 4. My wife was pregnant on several WDW trips. Take it easy, stay hydrated, listen to your body as far as rest, and have your husband take the kids while you go and get a maternity massage at the Grand Floridian Spa (no we didn't do this, but it sounds good (if offerred)). Of course, my wife tolerates me and the kids going to WDW and I don't think she missed not doing any of the big rides while pregnant. She realized on our last trip that our youngest is a dare devil and loves the big, fast rides (including what he calls the "Uh Oh drop" on Splash). She may have lost her excuse not to ride these any more (currently have no plans for more kiddos, so no pregnancy "excuse").

When I was 3 months pregnant we went and I found I needed a nap every day. We would head back to our room around 1, I would sleep and DH would go for a swim. Also we found lots of things we had never seen before, like exposition hall in MK, there are lots of photo op's in there and a theatre that plays old Mickey Mouse cartoons. Great place to get out of the heat and have a nice rest for me.
Also Hall of Presidents was good for that too.

I also went when I was pregnant and I thought a lot about what clothes to wear- you know how something can seem to fit OK in the morning- but by about 2 or 3 in the afternoon is starting to get overly snug!:goodvibes Wear your comfiest stuff, and good shoes- keep hydrated and make sure the kids understand that sometimes Mommy needs a break!

Take it slowly and know where all the restrooms are!

Congratulations and have fun!
