I found yesterday that our family is expecting baby #5 yesterday! We are super excited!! But DH said well we'll have to postpone our Halloween trip!:scared1: I said what!!! Well no! We can figure it out! Wondering if maybe we should stay on site just for connivence... We are staying 5 nights

So here are my questions!! Help me please!
Has anyone done DL about 7-8 months prego?
What rides are a no go?
Any tips and tricks?

Just stay hydrated and don't push yourself too hard. As an experienced Mom you know that. :goodvibes

You can go on most everything but the thrill rides, Indy, Space, Splash, TOT, etc. You can still do HM and Pirates. You should go for it!

I can't help you with your questions, but wanted to pop in and say Congratulations on your impending arrival!

I went when I was 5 months pregnant and it was fine. If you check the web site, there are lots of rides you cannot do, I still had a great time! We did not stay on site, and I was fine with all the walking. With 4 little ones already you are probably used to being on your feet all day. I was pg with my 3rd when we went. Drink lots of water and pack healthy snacks. I was a gestational diabetic so I had to be really careful.

I did it when I was about 7 months (see my little pic to the left). It was fine but at the end of the day, I was DONE! Yes, stay hydrated and take breaks. Sit and people watch for awhile. The rides I didn't go on were IMO the obvious ones. Just use common sense and you will be fine.

congrats! I don't think you should change your plans. I went to WDW when I was 5 months pregnant with really bad morning sickness!! but I had a great time...we took it easy and drank a lot of water. Good luck and again congratulations

Congrats on the pregnancy! When we went two years ago I was 5 mo pregnant. It was fine because my 3 year old was not tall enough to do many of the rides anyway. I didn't do any of the jerky rides: Matterhorn, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Star Tours, Indiana Jones, etc. I did do POTC, Soarin and the kiddie type rides like Buzz Lightyear, Alice in Wonderland, etc. Most rides will have warnings if you should not ride when pregnant. We were just at DLR last week and I saw a lot of pregnant women. If you have the ability to stay onsite it night be easier on your legs. I remember being really tired from all the walking. :goodvibes

Congrats to you and your family! Are any of the girls under 40 inches? If so the 2 of you could hang out/do something else while Dad and the older girls do the BIG rides. For my kids 1st trip ~ March of '06 ~ my mom & sister were with us, my sis was pregnant *her DS was born 9/29/06 ~ DD wasn't 40 inches so any ride she couldn't go on my sis couln't, it worked well, the 2 of them rode something else while we rode the rides they couldn't.

;) ;) ;) ;) ~ that's me sending some boy vibes your way :goodvibes

ETA ~ staying onsite for convenience?? Several off site hotels are closer than 2 of the 3 DLR hotels.....

Wow, that's great news! I was pregnant on both of our family trips to DL, and didn't feel as if I missed much. I just avoided the roller coasters as much as possible. I did go on SM on one of those trips where I wasn't very far along, the other time I didn't feel comfortable doing it.

I scheduled a pregnancy massage at the GC, but they kicked me out after finding out how far along I was. I wasn't far enough in the pregnancy, so they said it wasn't safe. Wish they would have told my mom that ahead of time. When you see "pregnancy massage" you automatically assume it's for a safe massage during pregnancy. Just thought I'd give the heads up in case you were considering one.

That's what I kind of thought anyways!:goodvibes My favorite rides are all of the kiddy rides anyways! LOL!! See we'll be fine!! : O ) I can't wait to bring the baby next year we'll get the first time visit button!!! :lmao:

Congrats!!!!

Are you hoping for a boy? :)

Just have a good time and relax alot!!!

My husband is the oldest of four boys. His mom kept trying and trying for a girl but after the fourth boy, she just gave up. You have a great point about already having hand-me-downs for a girl though!

Congratulations! I have 3 girls and its amazing!

I turned 29 weeks pregnant last year at Disneyland. You can read my trip report in my siggie if you would like to see how I was able to hold out. I did fairly well for the most part. It was 90 degrees all 3 days and my feet were ACHING at the end of the day. I was able to ride all the "fun" rides my kids did so it was nice.

We are going back in 9 DAYS! I hadn't even thought to get my baby her 1st Visit button! I will definately do that NEXT SATURDAY! (can you tell I'm excited?!)

Stinky boys are nothing but trouble!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think you should still go! You and the littles can ride PP until you get sick of the "You can fly, you can fly, you can fly" song!!!

Those are all of my favorites! I love bugsland in DCA TSM is my favorite. I think we are going to still go we might just go on a smaller trip. So we'll see! :lovestruc I can't miss Halloween there I'm too excited!!! :woohoo:

Are you saying that angelic face is trouble???

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I'M SAYING!!! He is the first I really needed to be diligent about cabinet locks and stuff. He scales the baby gate to get up the stairs....UGH!! One more week until we move and are stair free!!!:woohoo:

I went at Halloween when I was 8.5 almost 9 months pregnant. We stayed at GCH because it was the closest. We were celebrating our 15 yr anniversary, so I wanted to stay on property and we got a discount because we were AP holders. The first night was just DH and I and the next night (actually Halloween) my almost 3 year old DD joined us. I did quite a bit. I did schedule naps, but she needed to nap anyway. I thought it would be more relaxing than it was, but DH wanted to be in the parks a LOT. I didn't do the big rides; DH did some on his own. I could do pretty much anything DD could and we had a lot of fun.

FYI. My last trip to DL while pregnant was 3 days before I gave birth. We did the Christmas stuff on Friday night and Monday, my son was born. I am way to hardcore Disney for my own good. Thought about getting a wheelchair, but toughed it out. Worth it though. :goodvibes

We quit or so we thought after our 4th boy. We found out we were expecting around Christmas and the ultrasound last month told us it's a girl. :goodvibes
My DH rushed out to buy princess bedding for the crib. He was just so excited.:cloud9: It will be an adjustment as all we've had is boys but we're excited.
