for comfort sake can you go sooner, i would just be a little concerned about you and all the walking if you are 6 months,
best of luck in whatever you decide.

My husband and I are planning a trip to WDW in August/05. We are currently trying to get pregnant- so I could be as much as 6 months prego when we go. Anyone go to Disney while pregnant? This would be my first pregnancy.

Any suggestions?
I took my 3DD to Disney when I was 9 months pregnant. We drove from Nashville, faced record crowds, and constant rain. We stayed from open to close. Was it worth it? Absolutly! We only went to the parks for one day because I was exhausted and having mild contractions the next day. I think at 6mo. you would be just fine--as long as you doctor is o.k. with the idea. If I would have paced myself a little better I could have made it a second day. There is also the option of renting a wheel chair. I sat on the ground while waiting in some of those hour+ lines.

I went when I was about four months pregnant. Also took dd4 and ds3. I had a great time, but had already been through two pregnancies and figured I'd be okay based on prior experience and not being too far along. My doc told me I could ride anything but BTMR (this might have been before RNR). ON a kinda funny note the baby danced all through Tarzan Rocks (was one of the first times i could even feel her move). Never could decide if she loved it or hated it although she did love it when we took her at 2-1/2.

We went in Dec and I was 20 weeks. No heat but I was tired! My advice go for it with doctors okay and by all means stay hydrated!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went to disney with 2 1/2 year old when I was 7 1/2 mos. pregnant. I loved every minute of it. It was early September and 86-94 degrees. My husband and daughter were complaining before I did. Try to have a sit down airconditioned lunch if you can. Drink lots of water. Animal Kingdom was only park that felt really hot. The only thing I wished I could really do was Rock n ROller coaster and space mountain. allearsnet.com has a great pregnancy tips page and info on what ride you can rides. I did not gain as much with my 2nd and had no problem getting on rides like Dumbo, Haunted Mansion, etc. There are so many great cool places to rest. Hall of President's Country BEar Jamboree, Peoplemover, Spaceship Earth,It's a Bug life etc. Finding a place to sit and watch parades etc. I did ride Maelstrom and regretted it after. Felt a little jarring at the drop. Overall I felt I had lots of rides to choose from and the shows were always a nice break. I call that my daughter's first trip to Disney- in utero. I love the pictures of me pregnant at disney. Also the store at the Pooh ride exit has great nursery/baby stuff. I bought my soon to be born daughter a stuffed Pooh holding Blocks and think of the trip constantly when I see it in her nursery. SHe is going back for her first trip outside the womb in May for 9 days. She will be 17 mos. and her sister is four. We always stay on property and I think that made it easier to take breaks. I would not hesitate to go as long as Dr. says things are going well. Be prepared to be very emotional. I cried lots of happy tears. YOu will be envisioning taking your child there for years to come.

Hi All! I did the World with one pre-teen and 2.5 yo while 3.5 months prego. It was fine, great even! Although, it was early November, not the summer. I may have been fine at 3.5 in the summer, but not 6 months. If you can go earlier, go now. Summer is just so hot. In 1997 when I went in Aug I was miserable and NOT prego and only 22 yo. I just couldn't handle it. I mean, you go and say yeah, its gonna be hot and crowded but when you get there - ITS REALLY HOT AND CROWDED, even at night.

Please ask your Dr. if you are going in summer and are prego. Good luck!

I went with a 18 month old infant and I was 3 months pregnant. It was in January so the weather was nice. We did the Land and Sea cruise. We spent 3 days at disney. I did fine. Did not overdo, took naps in the afternoon. I was still having morning sickness. :( Yuck, I still enjoyed myself. The worst part was the flight a morning flight, by the time we got to our room at Disney I was green :) I still enjoyed myself.

My sister in law went to WDW when she was 7 months pregnant and in AUGUST! She was miserable the whole time. So hot. They stayed in their camper (a pop up with no airconditioning). I myself would not even consider going in August too hot.

I went to Disney last time in March 1999 to take my DS5 as his last hurrah as "the only one". I was 5 months along. We had a wonderful time, but>>>I didn't get to ride! bummer and boy was the walking hard on me. DH got me a wheelchair toward the end and pushed my big ol' body around! pooorrr DH. I am so looking forward to going June 2005 NOT pregnant!
