My girlfriend just sent me this tid bit in an email and I was wondering if it's true!?!?!

I keep meaning to tell you this but am not sure if I have already told you -- old age. My girlfriend and her family went to Disney when she was 7 months pregnant. She had a pleasant surprise. One of the ride attendants told her that pregnant women and their families don't need to stand in the normal line. They were able to go through the handicapped line which obviously was MUCH shorter. I don't know if you are showing enough for them to allow you to do it but it is a thought.

I dunno that it's policy, I certainly wasn't getting any of the special treatment when I went at 27 weeks in 2002...but then again, I was also very careful to hunch and look as unpregnant as possible so as to get on the rides that disney recommends the pregnant ladies don't ride (don't worry, no rock and roller, test track, or ToT. And thankfully, the baby still popped out with no major problems!

There are not separate handicapped lines at WDW.
All the fastpass lines and the newer attractions have what is called Mainstream Access. This means people using wheelchairs or ecvs (electric scooters) wait in the regular line with everyone else. As they added new attractions, renovated lines and added fastpass, the lines were made wider to be wheelchair accessible.
AK and the Studio were built with Mainstream Access. Newer rides at MK and Epcot also have Mainstream Access.

This is from the WDW Guidebook for Guest with Disabilities:
Stamina or Endurance Concerns
Some Guests may be concerned that they do not have the stamina to wait in our queues. We strongly suggest these Guests consider using a wheelchair, personal scooter or Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV), as the distance between our attractions is much greater than the length of our queues.
Pregnancy would be considered a stamina or endurance concern.

I went to Disney, very BIG & Pregnant, and stood in line just like everyone else. No one ever said anything to me about going in the other line. We had to ask if it was ok for me to go on several rides and they would say yes or no, but never go right ahead. The only faviortism I could see was with the character autographs. More than once, they waited until my DD had their autographs and then announced no more autographs and were gone. However, if you can go in the other line, by all means go! I would have too!!

Me too, went pregnant and beside the man (a father) who jumped up and gave me his seat while waiting for Univerise of Engery, no specail treatment.

No problems on the bus, because people would already offer me seats since I was holding a tolder.

Thanks for the posts! I'll only be 19 weeks when we go, and barely showing, so I don't anticipate any problems, but thought I'd check it out. This will sound crzy, but I'm kinda looking forward to standing in some lines, especially if it means I get to soak up some rays! It's in the 20's and snowing here today.

No special treatment for me last month. When we were there I was about 18/19 weeks and showing. In fact, on a crowded monorail, nobody even offered me a seat.

If this was really true, everyone would have known buy now. I've seen lots of Pregnant women standing in line just like everyone else.

Hi,
When we went in 2000 my wife was 5 months pregnant and this
was not our experience. The only thing that she got to do, on
very few rides, was to be able to sit and wait while the rest of
us stayed in line. She would then join us close to the front of the line.
She had a guest assistance pass. It helped some,with her not having
to stand so long, but we certainly did not get any other benefits, being
able to skip the regular lines. Good Luck
