Just curious have any of you or know of anyone who had a urine test at the doctor's come back negative when you were actually pregnant? Also any of you miss a few birth control pills and become pregnant?

I became pregnant while using NuvaRing. Yes, I was using it correctly. My first two urine tests were negative... probably because of the hormones from the birth control.

I'm happy to say that my daughter was born with no health issues. My OB said he's delivered several NuvaRing babies.

I had a negative result when I was pregnant with my son. They did a urine test instead of a blood test and I had just had a nice big bottle of water on the ride over... Anyway, I knew I was pregnant (had taken a test at home) was more annoyed at the inconvenience of having to come back a week later than anything else!

Yes, and it turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy. My levels were high enough when I tested at home, but had dropped because the pregnancy was failing, and did not register on their test. The test was also done mid-day, and not with the first daily urine.

Yes, 3 of them with my DD. Finally 6 weeks into pregnancy, a positive test came out.

I never missed any pills, but DID get pregnant on them with DS11, on my honeymoon no less.

Yup, happen to me both times! Over the counter test read negative and was going in for a colonoscopy and asked to have urine and that too said negative. Thank fully 9 mos. after, she was 9lbs and healthy and still is !!!
