Good luck with the pregnacy and congratulations - the kids grow up way to stinking fast. Our oldest has started driving - and then it will be off to college - where did the time go
If it was up to me, I would move the cruise up to the 2nd trimester or untill well after the new DIS'er is born. Safety of mom and child are of utmost importance. Since this is your first - you think you know how you will feel about your wife and child. From experience - it's way beyond ANYTHING you've ever experienced. Totally awesome, totally amazing, and the child is totally dependent upon its mother and you. Incredible responsibility (I became a MUCH better driver once the first child was born) and an incredible opportunity to take part in the growth and development of another individual.
My last comment is regarding the timing of the pregnancy - I thought that "making baby"
was supposed to happen ON the ship - Not before to keep you from the ship!
