Pregnancy announcement ideas in WDW

I found out during our trip and meant to take a picture of me pointing to the sign that said "expectant moms should not ride." But I completely forgot - I get a little too focused on getting through my plan for the day, I guess!

And some unsolicited advice... I went to WDW while 26 weeks along and ended up in L&D due to heatstroke (early May - temps in the mid 90s) so please make sure you take it easy and drink LOTS of water to stay hydrated!!!

This one might be difficult, because I hear it's reasonably rare, but if you could get the magic shot at AK with you holding Simba, your husband could hold up a sign saying something like "Practicing for the arrival of Baby ________"

I did the ear hat idea...we knew it was a girl so I got pink ears and had "Baby Schmitz" embroidered on it. If you look at my profile picture you will also see that I brought some little baby shoes with me and used those as a prop in my maternity photo shoot that I had done in Epcot. Not sure how far along you will be or if you will be showing yet...but having the shoes placed on my belly like that was pretty cute. I also took a photo of the ear hat, shoes, and a baby Minnie plush just on a cement wall with flowers behind it...that was actually the photo I put on my pregnancy announcement that I mailed out to everyone along with the tag line: Our Family is Growing by 2 Feet. I put some of the other photos on the back side...but that simple picture with the plush was pretty cute and a big hit.

sorry for your loss and congrats on the news! we also experienced a loss in december and recently found our we're expecting again too. our next disney trip is at the end of may so i'm interested in these ideas too

I think the ear hats are adorable. You could do one for yourself and your husband and then one that says "baby last name". Have the picture of the hats taken in front of the castle and use the caption "joining our cast in month / date"

I have done some maternity shots where the parents are kissing in the background (out of focus) and holding the ultrasound picture in the foreground (in focus). It's kind of cliche, but it would be so pretty with the castle in the background.

You could always do a few of the ideas in the thread and make a collage with one of the pic stitch apps.
