Preggo, pennies, and pastries!!! **FINAL UPDATES 4/25**

I'm with you. I'm not into the Circus at all. I never liked going to a Circus. But I like the idea of the rest of the Fantasyland expansion.

Speaking of Disney princesses. I so can't wait for them to put the Little Mermaid in 3D!!! Oh and Aladdin!

Glad the MK day went a little better!

I remember when they first announced the Fantasyland expansion and it sounded like it was gonna be pretty much all circus themed. Katie let me know and I was like :scared1: I can't remember if you know this or not, but I am absolutely terrified of clowns (Katie is very well aware of this haha this is why she told me) I was SO scared there would be clowns overtaking my happy place, but luckily it doesn't seem like that will happen.

I'm glad Luke was okay with some of the characters at the parade, and with all of them at the character buffets! That's so cute how he got it down to a science!

I'm so glad my schedule works out! Caleb is my little buddy! We would definitely miss each other. The only movie he ever wanted to watch for a while was the Lion King :rotfl: For a while one of the first things he said when he got here was "watch Lion King?" I LOVE the Lion King but we watched it 4 days a week for like 3 weeks...Then I finally put 101 Dalmatians on to see if he would watch it. He loved it :thumbsup2 Now I ask him if he wants to watch Lion King or "the puppies." :rotfl:

I was cleaning out some stuff over the summer and found a bunch of dinosaurs and cars and stuff like that(I've never been a girly girl ) and put them in a bag to donate, but then one day when Caleb was here he got into the bag and had a ton of fun playing with the toys so I just decided to keep them for him. He also asks to color a lot...but he won't actually draw anything. He'll hand me a crayon and say "draw firetruck" or some other kind of vehicle. Whatever I'm drawing usually looks like a box with wheels but that satisfies him :lmao:

I distinctly remember seeing the penny books in Mexico too! I can't remember where I bought mine, but I definitely remember seeing them at the Emporium.

I have an Android. I just checked the app store and couldn't find it. That's okay though, I'm good at spotting the machines :thumbsup2

I'm definitely guilty of eating rice krispie treats for breakfast in WDW :rolleyes1 I remember one morning a few years ago I had a rice krispie treat and some vanilla soft serve frozen yogurt :rotfl: But my usual breakfast choice in WDW is a chocolate croissant :cloud9: I made rice krispie treats the other day because I was craving them after seeing the picture from Goofy's that Meg sent to FB

I can't wait to see the new HM queue!!! We'll be at MK on our arrival day, which is the day before spring break season officially starts so hopefully it won't be crowded that day and I can take my time looking at everything.

I'm terrified of snakes too :scared1:

Sorry you had a disappointing CP meal! That's my favorite WDW restaurant. We've never had a bad meal there. We go for lunch every trip. I do want to try the breakfast at some point though!

That is so cute that Caleb wanted to always watch The Lion King!!! I think kids just go through phases like that. Luke will watch the same DVD over and over and over for weeks & then all of a sudden, he switches to a different one!

I think they sold the pressed penny books at the BC gift shop as well. I can't remember for sure, but I know we'll find them next trip! Luke will probably spot them before I do!

If you want, I can send you a list of the pressed penny machines they have on the app. It might take me awhile to compile the entire list, but I was thinking of doing it anyway in case a client with children asks! I'd be happy to share it with you!

A girl after my own heart!!!! :thumbsup2 I am absolutely OBSESSED with chocolate croissants from Disney!!!! :cloud9: I always stop by Starring Rolls to get one at DHS.

The HM queue is amazing!!! I was so glad that it was never crowded so I could take my time wondering around, taking pictures, and playing with all the different displays!!!

I honestly think the meals at Disney just depend on the day. I've talked to twenty people going to the same place & they have twenty different experiences! I swear its complete luck! Next trip, my plan is for breakfast first thing in the morning at CP! I definitely want to try their breakfast buffet AND see an empty Main Street!!! :thumbsup2

I think I'll put my dad on to the pressed pennies too. He might enjoy that lol

Speaking of Disney princesses. I so can't wait for them to put the Little Mermaid in 3D!!! Oh and Aladdin!

I think your dad would enjoy the pressed pennies! Do you have the app? I can type up the list & email it to you. Then you could print it out for him & maybe when you and your mom are doing something he doesn't want to do, he could go on a search for the pennies! :thumbsup2

My first experience at the circus scarred me for life! I have never taken Matthew to a circus & Luke hasn't been as of yet either! Oh and the circus in our town is a complete joke anyway -- they dress up dogs & cats like elephants & tigers (no unfortunately I am NOT joking! It's pathetic! :headache: )

During my first trip to the circus, a little girl who was maybe 4 or 5 years old was riding an elephant & got trampled & died!!! So yeah, imagine being the same age as that little girl & all you remember from the circus was THAT and hearing ambulances & police sirens!

I'm glad your MK day went a bit smoother!

Me too, Katie!!! We really didn't do much, but it was nice just to walk around & relax and not have any "issues" for the day!!! :thumbsup2

Every single time I read a TR where someone has stayed at the Boardwalk or I see a picture of a clown or circus, I think of you!!! Yep Meg I remember your fear of clowns!!!

I honestly don't blame you at all. I don't really have a fear of them, but they're not my favorite thing in the world either. I'm glad they won't be a main part of our happy place!!! :thumbsup2

About your first circus experience... who was stupid enough to let a 4-5 year old perform. People

Sorry CP wasn't so good. I actually have eaten dinner there twice and really enjoyed it.
Glad that Luke had a better day...and you got some amazing pictures.

I've definitely seen the penny books in a few different places. I think they're usually up near the registers, but I'm not positive.

If you have time to do it that would be awesome! But don't worry about it if you don't have time! I know you'll be verrrry busy soon ;)

I can't wait to eat a chocolate croissant. They have them in the bakery section of the grocery store here but they're not very good. Nothing like the Disney ones!

I would love to try CP for breakfast and see an empty Main Street! But the lunch is a tradition for us and I would really miss it. But no one says I can't eat at CP twice in one trip, so I'll do it some day :thumbsup2

I didn't explain it right. The little girl wasn't performing in the circus, they were giving elephant rides after the Circus was over. That's when she got on the elephant & got trampled & died. I can't remember the circus' name but they always give elephant rides right after the circus & sometimes before too. I think they charge $10-20 for it!!! People will do anything to make money!

Sorry for the confusion! I should've explained better!

Sorry CP wasn't so good. I actually have eaten dinner there twice and really enjoyed it.
Glad that Luke had a better day...and you got some amazing pictures.

I'm still behind on your DCL report & your AEP report -- have you finished it & I missed the ending too?! LOL!!! I've just been looking through your pictures on FB & I LOOOVE them all!!! But I still need to take a day & just catch up here on all my subs! :thumbsup2

You know, I've read about dinner at CP and lots of people seem to enjoy it. I'm going to check out AllEars and see the difference in the lunch/dinner menu. Although I think it was just an "off day" for them (or maybe for our tastes!) because it seems like everyone else really enjoys breakfast, lunch, AND dinner there!

I was really disappointed because we were talking a few weeks ago about our next trip, even though it's not for awhile & my DH said "You know where we definitely aren't eating, right?" And then he said Crystal Palace!!! I about cried, especially because it will be the baby's first trip & I really want him to see Pooh & friends! But I told him it was completely MY fault because breakfast is better & we were originally supposed to go for breakfast. I moved it to lunch since I didn't think waking a grumpy Luke up early would be a good idea! So he agreed to try breakfast, but if he doesn't like it, he said we aren't eating there again :sad2: :confused3

No problem at all! I'm sure I'll have time to make the list & send it to you because I'm not planning on going many places in the next couple of weeks! It's just getting harder for me to get out. The other day, Luke and I went to Walmart ONLY because we desperately needed a few grocery items (or else I would've skipped it entirely!). I used to wonder why they had these benches just sitting in the middle of the aisles -- I thought it was so dumb! But the other day, I was SEARCHING for those benches! :lmao: I had to keep taking breaks sitting down because I've been having contractions. They aren't the real kind, its just Braxton Hicks & sometimes I can just keep doing whatever it is I'm doing at the time -- but sometimes I have to find a balance between walking around & sitting down. It's harder to do that at stores, so after this weekend, I'm not really planning on going anywhere until the baby is here.

So to make a super long story short, I'll have lots of time to DIS!!! :lmao:

Mmmm, chocolate croissants!!! :lovestruc You know with all of this talking about them, you're going to have to ship me one from your Disney trip, right?! ;) :lmao:

I definitely vote for two visits to CP on the same trip!!! The character meals are my FAVORITE and I am going to be so very sad when my boys won't do them anymore. I'll just have to convince them that they're going for the food & I'm going to see the characters! ;)

I have some questions about Criminal Minds that I need to ask you! First of all, thank you for the reminder!!! My DH was off Monday and I have my days all messed up! I thought yesterday was Thursday...or Tuesday... :confused3 So had you not text me, I probably would've forgotten about CM! I put a reminder in my cell calendar for every Wednesday -- for CM and for Revenge!!! :thumbsup2

Ok -- question!! When did Prentiss come back? I didn't watch the episodes in order last season & I think that's why I'm confused! :confused3

I thought that the last episode of last season was the one when she "died" and then was given secret info & passports so she could leave for another mission & the entire team thought she was dead. I remember seeing an episode after that one & Hodge was counseling the other team members to see how they were dealing with it. Then she just appeared on this new episode! So I was confused! I'm glad she's back -- Prentiss is one of my favorites!!! I don't think I could watch it without her or Shemar on there! ;)

It sounds like you had a really nice day in MK!! The sky was so beautiful!!! You got some great pictures!!

I'm sorry CP wasn't so great. We've had both breakfast and lunch, but we much prefer breakfast!

I can't wait to hear all about the dessert party!!! :surfweb:

:rotfl: I've never noticed the benches in Walmart. I don't think ours has them, but I've only been there a few times so I might just not remember.

I've seriously considered taking chocolate croissants home before but I know they would get crushed on the plane and would taste gross by the time I got home. I did bring home 3 rice krispie treats last year. I bought the pre-packaged ones at the WL gift shop right before we left and stuck them in my carry-on. They were gone in a day or two :rolleyes1

My days have been all messed up too since I've been on vacation. I'd be completely lost without my phone calendar :lmao:

Prentiss "died" fairly close to the end of last season, but it wasn't the last episode. She came back in the first episode of this season. In the real world, the actress had a deal with CBS. They regretted firing her (:rolleyes1) and wanted to re-hire her before her "last" episode even aired. At that point she had already signed onto a pilot of a new comedy show on NBC, which never ended up airing. So she had a new deal. If NBC liked the pilot and wanted to continue that show, she'd stay there. But if NBC rejected the show, she'd go back to Criminal Minds, which is obviously what ended up happening.

As for what actually happened in the show, it's a long story  The episode is on youtube though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ex7uWtL1sWc

That's part 1 of 4 of the first episode of this season. The rest of them are on there too. That person has every episode from this season if you want to catch up! They also have every episode of last season, and I think the one before. I have no idea why CBS hasn't had those taken down but I'm not complaining

We did have a nice MK day -- so far!!! Coming up soon, I'll tell you more about the rest of the day! ;)

I'm definitely open to trying CP again for breakfast!!! I think next trip Luke will be a lot easier to wake up in the mornings because he starts school next fall. Once he's on more of a schedule, I'm sure things will be smoother on vacation!

Oh my -- the dessert party!!! What I wouldn't give to be there right NOW!!! :thumbsup2

We never had benches in our Walmart either, until maybe 2 summers ago when they remodeled our store. I noticed the other day while searching for them that they've moved the majority of them to the front of the store now. But they did have them smack in the middle of the aisles a few months ago! :confused3

I've never brought food home from Disney before -- because I'd eat it either on the way to the airport, on the airplane ride home, or in the car on the way home from the airport! I almost brought home a couple rice krispie treats in September, but just didn't have room in my carry-on bag. My parents always amaze me because they bring home half a carry-on with food in it. I think its mostly because they buy things & just don't eat a lot, so they bring it home to share! But hey, I won't complain ;)

(I tell everyone about my obsession with chocolate croissants & tell them to bring me home one! LOL!!! I think it would probably be gross by the time it made it from the resort to MCO!!! :lmao: :lmao:)

Maybe someday Disney will offer shipping from their bakeries straight to your home :confused3 We seriously need a suggestion box!!!

I keep track of pretty much everything in my cell -- I even have a journal in there! But I will admit, I learned the hard way to always have a back-up! The summer when Luke was just starting to walk & talk, I kept track of all of his milestones in my cell phone. He took my phone & threw it once too many times on the floor at Target & the screen broke. I wasn't able to retrieve ANY information from my cell at all. Lesson learned! (although I don't have a back-up of the journal I have on my cell right now, so maybe I didn't really learn yet :rolleyes1)

I KNEW you'd know about Criminal Minds!!! :thumbsup2 Thanks for the info!!! I'm going to post a couple of updates here & then go watch that YouTube video!!! I have no idea how I missed what happened with Prentiss because I watched the season opener :confused3 I do remember during the first episode Luke was watching a DVD in the same room & I was online. So obviously I wasn't paying attention! I LOVE Criminal Minds -- they've been playing reruns on ION from around 9 or 10pm until in the middle of the night (like 2-4am!) so that's what I've been doing the past few months :thumbsup2

Thanks again for the info!!! And for telling me what happened in the "real world" with Prentiss! I attempted to research it yesterday but then realized I was running late for my dr appt so I left the house in a hurry & never looked it up again! I'm glad CBS decided to take her back, but it makes me nervous for the future! I hope she isn't the first to go when they do decide to let someone go! :sad2: Hopefully they learned their lesson & keep her forever! Because, you know, they're going to run CM forever just for us!!! ;)

Yay updates!!!! I'm sorry Luke still wasn't up for riding much but it looks liek you guys had a good time anyways! Great empty castle pictures! And yes, you should eat at CRT. Jack enjoyed flirting with the princesses when we ate there :lmao:

Honestly I was surprised that my rice krispie treats made it home without me eating them :lmao:

I keep track of everything in my phone too. I have all the info for my classes in there. I go back to school tomorrow so I'll definitely need that! I do have a copy of my schedule in my backpack and one in my car just in case

I watch the re-runs on ION a lot too. I have them all on DVD but I still watch them on TV  Sometimes I just have them on in the background while I'm doing something else. The TV is basically always on when I'm home alone because I like the noise. I freak myself out when the house is too quiet. That's probably a side effect from too much Criminal Minds :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I can't believe your little guy will be here soon! I can't wait to "meet" him :goodvibes

I just wanted to post a quick update....Hope had her Baby boy last night!!!! I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll let her post the details when she gets time.

:dance3::banana:Congratulations Hope! So happy for you and your family!

Poor Luke. He reminds me of my DS. On our first trip, he rode Winnie the Pooh and when the ride starts bouncing like Tigger, he was done. He wouldn't ride anything the rest of the trip. He did enjoy the characters and parades so it was still lots of fun.

Look forward to hearing about the dessert party!

Yay updates!!!! I'm sorry Luke still wasn't up for riding much but it looks liek you guys had a good time anyways! Great empty castle pictures! And yes, you should eat at CRT. Jack enjoyed flirting with the princesses when we ate there :lmao:

We really did have a great day! Even though Luke wouldn't ride much, it was still fun walking around & making a "to ride/see list" for next trip! And honestly, throughout the trip, we didn't do many of the things I had on my "Top 10 To Do List" that I made for each park -- but I was ok with that! I thought I'd be disappointed, but sometimes its best to just leave the plan & go with the flow! Hard for someone with OCD to say but with kids, you just never know! ;) :thumbsup2

I definitely want to eat at CRT -- maybe next trip before Luke starts to plan the vacations instead of me! :lmao:

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who watches reruns on ION constantly!!! :lmao:

I do the same thing -- usually I'll be online or folding laundry & just have CM on in the background. And yes, I can totally relate because last night after I watched CM, I locked the door to my bedroom! Some of those episodes definitely have the ability to freak you out more than you realize they will! I wasn't feeling well the past few weeks so I haven't been online much, but I really plan to be on the CM thread this coming Wednesday!

Posting an update soon about my little one! :thumbsup2

I just wanted to post a quick update....Hope had her Baby boy last night!!!! I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll let her post the details when she gets time.

Thanks Jen!!!! :thumbsup2

It was sort of funny because I was sitting in the hospital the one evening wondering if anyone had posted anything on DIS!! What a thing to think about with everything else going on, right?!

I'll post an update today!!! Thanks again for updating for me!

:dance3::banana:Congratulations Hope! So happy for you and your family!

Thanks Erika! I will post an update soon -- we are very excited that he is finally here!!!

I'm glad someone really understands about us not riding much. I remember when I posted my TR back in 2009, I made a list of rides from each park's map & I was shocked at how little we actually did! Last year, Luke did a lot more & he was very interested in everything! This year was probably the worst as far as him being afraid of everything. The funny part is that after we got home, he asked me for months if he could go back to "our hotel" and see Mickey Mouse. He actually knows how to get on the computer & into the folder where I have our trip pictures! Sometimes I overhear him talking -- he looks at each picture & describes what's happening. Things like "That was when I saw Mickey Mouse" or "That was the moving food ride where I saw Pluto and Mickey Mouse and Chip and Dale." It is adorable to listen to & it makes me really happy to know he enjoyed the trip!!! You wouldn't have known it at the time OF the trip, but after coming home, we realized he really loved it!

We really did have a great trip -- plus the things we skipped, we can just do next trip! :thumbsup2

Congratulations Hope!!!

Thanks Melanie!!! :thumbsup2

Update coming soon!

Just wanted to post a quick non-Disney related update!! I don't have the pictures on this computer yet so I'll have to upload those & share later! Thanks again, Jen, for updating everyone! :thumbsup2

It's actually quite the story & was a huge shock to us! We stayed home most of the day on Saturday. I wasn't feeling well & just wanted to get some last minute stuff done around the house. I actually had a sonogram scheduled by my ob for Tuesday (the 24th). He was concerned that the baby was getting too big & wanted to have his sonogram tech take some measurements. After the sonogram, I would have a consultation with him & he would tell me if he wanted to induce me this weekend or early next week near my "due date" the week of January 30th - February 1st.

So we figured since the baby would be born in about a week or so, we should work on some stuff around the house. That's what we did all day Saturday and then on Sunday we decided to go out for the morning/afternoon. We even went out to lunch!!! Of course since it was the weekend, we waited a long time to get into the restaurant & then waited a fairly long time for our drinks, order, check, etc. But we were fine with that because we were in absolutely no hurry at all! (this is quite funny now looking back on the days events!) On the way home, Luke asked to go to my MIL's house. We were leaving him there while I was in the hospital to have the baby so I've been taking him over more recently. We told him that we would go over but we could only stay for a little while because we wanted to get home & just relax for the evening. We were both exhausted after the long weekend & just being out all day Sunday.

We got back home around 5:30 and my DH & Luke were watching football & the news & I had planned to rest & catch up on emails. I took my laptop into the bedroom to lay down & rest & called my mom. She was worried about me being home alone all week with it being so close to my due date & I was reassuring her I would be fine. Monday my SIL was coming over & she would stay with me as long as I needed her to since it was her day off. And then Tuesday was my sonogram -- I usually stop at my parents house for a few hours on days when I have a doctor appt since its nearby their house. I had been getting pains on & off throughout the day & I've had Braxton Hicks contractions for about the past 3-4 weeks. I never had them with previous pregnancies so I honestly have no clue what the difference is between the BH & the real ones!

As I was talking to my mom, I got this horrible pain. I told her that I needed to hang up & she asked if I was ok. I told her I'd call her right back. I walked into the other room to tell my husband I wasn't feeling well & was going to lay down & my water broke!!!! And at that moment, this is pretty much how I felt:  :goodvibes :sad2: :thumbsup2 :yay: :scared1: :cloud9:

He immediately called his mom to tell her we were on our way to her house with Luke (its about a mile down the road so I told my husband we had time to drop him off). I called my mom back & told her my water broke & I was starting to have stronger contractions. My husband got Luke's coat & shoes on, got the car out, and was waiting for me outside. I quickly changed my clothes, grabbed my purse, shut off my laptop & threw it in the other room, and ran out the door! We dropped Luke off at my MIL's house and started driving to the hospital. I called the doctor on the way there but of course its Sunday night so I had to talk to the answering service. A few minutes later, an odd number came up on my cell & I answered. My obgyn was OUT OF TOWN and another doctor was on call for him!!! Normally, since I'm a huge planner & crazy OCD about most things, I probably would've been freaked out or extremely nervous/worried/etc. But with everything going on, in that moment, I was just relieved to talk to a doctor!!! She said she would call Labor & Delivery and see me later that evening.

We got to the hospital at 7pm and I will spare you the rest of the details!!! Our brand new baby boy, sweet and perfect, was born at 8:16pm (after a semi-easy (yet extremely painful!) delivery without ANY medication!!! Sorry there wasn't any time for those! :rolleyes1) We were both released from the hospital on Tuesday afternoon and are happy to be home! My husband has been absolutely incredible with helping me out. He has always done stuff around the house, but he's really done about 200% more in the past week. He even did housework while I was in the hospital! :thumbsup2 My mom has been cooking dinner for us all week which has also been a huge help. And most importantly, Luke LOVES his little brother!!! He just came into the room & told me that his brother's hair is so cute and so soft too! He has really been helping me out! He follows me into the nursery & loves to pick out Tyler's clothes & he runs to get me when he cries! He is such a wonderful big brother & I am so glad he loves him so much!!! :goodvibes

Disney update coming soon!

Now for a Disney update!

We had left Magic Kingdom for a little break before heading back to MK for the Wishes Dessert Party! :thumbsup2

If you're interested in learning more information or booking it, here's the link straight from the Disney Parks page!
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/tomorrowland-terrace-fireworks-dessert-party/

I've had people ask me questions about it or give me their opinion & some think its a great deal & others don't think they'll eat enough desserts for it to be worth it. I can tell you from experience that IT IS worth it!!!! It was one of the nicest evenings we had this past trip!!!

Just the fact that you can walk straight into MK & not have to look for a spot to watch the fireworks or search for a spot hours early makes it worth it in my opinion!!! You also are able to choose between standing along the railing to watch or just sitting at your table. Luke sat on my husband's lap at the table to watch them & he saw everything, so if you're wondering "If I stay at my table, will I be able to see?" the answer is yes!!!! (Of course its harder to see if tall people are standing in front of you or if you're way in the back of the terrace -- but most likely, you'll still get a great view from your seat.)

This might sound a little bit crazy, but if you want to book this, I would seriously stalk the Disney website months before the date you need. They open booking anywhere from 30-45 days in advance, sometimes (but rarely) 60+ days in advance. When I booked it for September, they didn't have availability until almost 20 days before -- so just keep checking the website!

And trust me, as soon as this opens up, it is booked quickly!!! We went in mid-September during "low crowd season" at Disney and even our party was sold out!

Whenever you book, you do have to give them a credit card. (Just a FYI -- You pay out of pocket for this experience & they do not accept the dining plan)

If you have any questions about it, I'm more than happy to answer!!!

Ok now -- Back to our arrival at MK!!!

I booked the Wishes Dessert Party online, but then I called Disney to ask some questions. I wasn't sure where to go and I always get nervous when I'm supposed to be somewhere at a certain time but have no idea where to go! I don't mind looking around a little bit if we're early, but we were of course running a little behind. We were supposed to arrive by 7:45pm at the latest & we arrived at MK at 7:30pm on the dot! The gates weren't busy at all, so we walked right through & headed towards The Plaza.

If you turn right down the path after The Plaza and past the outdoor seating area & restrooms, you will arrive at the correct destination! :thumbsup2

There was a sign that said "Tomorrowland Terrace Wishes Dessert Party" and a little podium with 3-4 CM's standing around it. It was very easy to spot!

I told the CM our name & how many people were in our party (obviously 3) and then they told us to go to the end of the line to wait for another CM to give us a wristband. Within a few minutes, a CM who had a list of names came around looking for people he hadn't given wristbands to yet.

Luke was thrilled with his!

It was actually neat because we were in line right in front of a couple with a little girl. We started talking & I found out they lived in the same state as us, but on the opposite side! Luke was in his stroller and their little girl was in her stroller. I thought it was really cute because he told her that he liked her shirt (I think it had Tinkerbell on it) and then she asked him who was on his shirt. They had an entire conversation about Disney & the characters! It was adorable!!!

Since we weren't there very early, almost immediately after we got our bracelets, the line began moving. A CM escorts each group to their table & also takes your stroller & parks it for you.

We had the most amazing seat!!! We were right on the corner in the front row! I was thrilled!!!

After they seat you, they explain what's offered at the buffet, show you the drink area & the food area & then you are free to get your first plate. I took Luke with me & he immediately asked me if he could take something off the tray.

I think we had three or four plates before the fireworks started. They came around & took our empty plates frequently. They also told us that we were allowed to continue getting up to eat throughout the fireworks show & afterwards if we'd like.

Overall, the desserts were delicious, the service was very good, the view was amazing, and it was definitely worth the money!!! It was very relaxing opposed to the normal rushing around to get a good spot to see the fireworks! Not to mention that we were able to sit & enjoy DELICIOUS desserts while watching them!

The only thing I would say is that people are like vultures! If you get a good spot to take pictures or watch the fireworks, do NOT move from that spot. The second you move away, fifty people fly in to grab your spot!!! Enough about that, I won't go into details! :snooty:

They also had a PhotoPass photographer taking pictures -- we got some awesome shots with the castle in the background!

Normally after the fireworks, everyone rushes out of the park. I explained to my husband that the park technically doesn't close until all guests leave the park & that the buses run an hour after park closing. I said there wasn't a hurry to get out & we could stop in some shops if he wanted.

We've never been inside the art store on Main Street, so we decided to stop in. I was expecting people to be sort of crabby since it was the end of the day & the CM's have to stay to work until everyone leaves. But it was just the opposite!!! The CM's working in there were super nice & helpful!!! They came over & showed us some pictures & explained that different artists who work for Disney draw new ones everyday.

They also had a little coloring station for the kids. Luke didn't want to sit down at the table, he wanted to sit on the floor. The CM actually asked me if it was ok for her to sit beside him & of course I said it was. She was very good with him & helped him color.

He was soooo proud of his artwork when he was done! He showed it to all of the CM's on the way out of MK! It was really nice too because all of them took the time to stop, look at his coloring page, and compliment him on it! I thought that was wonderful!!!

After we got back to the room, we watched tv for awhile (I can't remember what we watched, but by this point we were sick of watching Disney-related shows so we turned it on "regular" tv). My husband went to the Marketplace to refill our mugs & brought Luke up some Doritos. I stayed up after they went to sleep to write in my journal & think about our plans for the next few days.
