I am not sure I completely understand this. Did you use a travel agent or Disneyland Planning to make reservations for you? Priority seating means a time reserved for you at one of Disneyland's full service restaurants. It means you show up at that time and the next available table that fits your party will be yours. It is sort of like a reservation but you can still have a wait, much less than if you just walked in however. I assume they have made some priority seatings for maybe character meals for you. Is there a place listed next to this priority seating time? As for preferred seating, did you reserve Fantasmic seating for either the dessert buffet or riverside seating? If they just have a number for you to call on the other hand, that means you can call and make priority seatings at places that appeal to you. There is a sticky on the top of this board that gives information on character meals and other full service restaurants at the Disneyland Resort. You call that number, tell them where and when you would like to go and they will make the priority seating for you within a specific time. But it sounds like somebody has maybe already done that for you. I hope this helps!

I think if you book with a package throught the Disney Travel Co (directly or via online) you receive preferred seating to some of the shows...perhaps Golden Dreams and Alladin?

Yes, Preferred Seating is a perk that comes with packages booked through WDTC. It includes Golden Dreams, Its Tough To Be A Bug, Muppet Vision 3-D, and Aladdin, A Musical Spectacular. You will just need to give your vouchers to the Cast Member at the show entrance when you arrive and they will instruct you where to go. And you will stillneed to arrive early for these shows, especially Aladdin.

And as noted above, Prioirty Seatings is like reservations for meals.

Yes I did make our travel arrangements through WDTC. And we have one character meal set up already.

I just wasnt sure how the rest would work, but I think you all explained it pretty well.

I haven't heard of golden dreams, what is this?

Here is what I am still unclear about...

Now for Aladdin and the other shows, can you sit anywhere or do the CM's sit you in a designated area? I read a post that someone suggested (quote, "We always try to sit in the orchestra level, but in the first row of the Back section on the far side of the entrance.") Can we sit here with the preferred seating??

And one more question, for the priority seating for dining, do I have to call them ahead of time or can we just "show up" and get the same thing?? I have no idea what times will be good to eat, since we have young children with us and its hard to determing when and where we want to eat. This is our first time to Disneyland, so I have no idea where to eat!! I know for sure we are doing the Disney Princess Dinner one night and that is all I have planned out, would anyone suggest planning more meals in advance?? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,
Nicole
