we're staying in a preferred view studio at BWV for 10 nights in april/may.
my first request of course is bdwk view, but I know they are very limited. we love water view, should my second request be lagoon view? that would be of the waterway to MGM right? I really don't want a view of Luna park, cause I'm thinking very noisy, and lots of screaming kids, am I right?? I would be ok with a lovely garden view too, and suggestions on how to word this??

We never stayed at BWV before, so don't really know what to expect of the views (other than the obvious bdwk view) any suggestions? It's just DH and I! we love to sit on the balcony, so view is important to us!

thanks! Laura :) :) :)

Yes lagoon view is of the one leading to MGM. The rooms at Luna Park really are not noisy particularly when balcony door is closed. But from the way phrased in your post you may be an ideal candidate for the "quiet" pool view. That area overlooks the second pool and community hall and the lagoon and is the quietest on site (not many use that pool or community hall) besides having lots of flora.

We had a quiet pool view and LOVED it. It was beautiful and very quiet! (I heard it can be very noisy on the boardwalk). We could hear the Fantasmic Music at nite and actually see alot of the fireworks and lasers. It was really beautiful and I will definately request that view again as my DH and myself love the balconey as you do and spend alot of our "down" time sitting out there reading. OH BOY, May can't come soon enough for me!!

We had a view of the quiet pool from our 4th floor studio. For a photo click here, and scroll a little more than 1/2 way down the page. There's also a shot of Luna Park from a 4th floor balcony (not ours). The quiet pool was definately that - quiet. There was rarely more than a few people swimming at a time and we never heard a sound from either the pool area or the community center.

Jennybobenny - I love your pix! What a great page! I have bookmarked it! Thanks!

Jennybobenny, those pictures are terrific. Having never been to BWV, I'm super impressed by how beautiful everything is. Thanks for sharing!

jennybobenny, you made me miss it SOOOOOOOO much. We just got back from a trip to the BWV (our first time) this Feb. I want to go back already. Our next trip is in Aug. I can't wait.
princess angel, We had a Luna Park view and thought it was very nice. It wasn't noisy at all. It was nice to be able to sit out and watch all the action in the pool.
