For my campsite reservation for this March (22-26) I have been assigned a Preferred site. It seems that most of the Preferred sites are now Premium. If I were to call and request a loop, which loop would I be allowed to request? TIA

I don't know the answer to your question but we have a preferred for April so I will be interested to hear what you end up with.

The only sites that are certainly Preferred are 100, 200 and 300... they have been Preferred before the reno's, continue to be during, and will be after. 700 is currently Preferred, but I suspect it's conversion will begin shortly. There have been reports of 1700 & 1900 being used temporarily as Preferred. And currently 900, 1000, 1100, 1600 and 1800 meet the definition of Preferred loops but AFAIK they are being used as Full. I would feel a bit jilted to be in one of these former Full sites in a non-preferred location and pay Preferred rates for them, so I would request either 200 (non-pets) or 300 (pets) personally. Loop 100 has too much traffic for me.

I have a question, that pertains to the preferred sites. I reserved one and requested loop 100 or 200 based on a need to be close to the comfort stations, food, etc. Lots of kids (7) and only 3 adults. We were going to rent a camper, now we are not. Is there room to tent camp on those sites with the slab? Everyone on here seems so knowlegeable, I knew you could give me some info :^)

Yes there is a good-sized coquina pad (crushed seashell). If you want to be close to the comfort station, 200 would be a bit better, but either is a very cool loop to be in... right in the middle of the action!
